Wonka's Sweets Shoppe, Wednesday
Ezra had never had a real job before.
Sure, he'd bartended at Purgatory, but that didn't count. That was still Coterie work. Hardly the same thing as a regular job, even if pouring drinks wasn't as bad as some of his other assignments within the system. This was different. This was... just what it was, and nothing more.
There were still far too many bags of green jelly beans around. But, there was also a sale on newly arrived edible glitter in all the colors of the rainbow! Ezra felt like that was the store welcoming him.
Hello, Wonka's. And hello, Fandom. Ezra was ready to sell you some candy.
[ooc: Ooh employment! Open!]

Entering, she let her eyes wander a little across the display before smiling at Ezra.

She approached the counter. "This is a shop I have never visited before."

He was mostly joking. But not entirely.

"I suppose that is a reason as good as any," she said, an amused look in her eyes. "But does that mean you have no interest in selling sweets to me?"
no subject
"Well, I think my interest's more on you than it is on the sweets, if I'm fully honest," he replied, with an easy little smirk. "But I would very much like the honor of having you be my first official customer. Anything particular you might be in the market for?"

Then he slipped out from behind the counter, nodding for her to follow him to a corner of the store. "I think I have an idea, yes."

"I figure something refined is in order," he said, reaching for a box and presenting it to her. "Something like this. Fine and Belgian, and rich with tradition."
[ooc: So sorry for the extreme SP! Midsummer happened to me much more epicly than expected beforehand.]

[SP is love, and Midsummer happened here too.]

"But you did say it," she pointed out with half a smile.

He really didn't think it had. But, politeness could be a thing.

Of the chocolates, too. They had a dedicated box for that and everything, so he got that out and held it out for her to choose from. "It's not all the same as this box, but it gives you an idea about the decadence that is Godiva chocolates."

She could share them with Cassandra perhaps.
