Groovy Tunes, Saturday
Jonothon had woken up yesterday, taken one look at the world at large (by way of checking thew news on his phone), had said, //Oh, fuck this,// and had gone back to bed. For the whole day. Because it wasn't like there was anything he needed to be upright and functional for anyway.
That everybody was stuck telling the truth, therefore, had flown right over his head.
Today he was a bit more with-it, making his way in to the shop in order to tidy up a few shelves, place a few orders, and otherwise just sort of mull about, looking official or something. Or as official as a man wearing leather and spilling gouts of flame into the air could possibly look, anyway. It was going to be a work in progress for a while.
[OOC: Open! OCD-freeee.]

When he saw his teacher, he turned down the radio and gave him a goofy grin.
"Hey there, Mister Starsmore. You're looking a little hot today. Eh? Get it?"
He totally fired some finger-guns to accompany his terrible joke.

He got all starry-eyed. "It's just so cool that you can access all these different dimensions of music! There's probably music here by aliens from planets I've never even heard of. I almost want to just close my eyes, spin around, and grab the first CD I point at."

...
He might interfere if Steven happened to select something less than kid-friendly, however.

"You know, now that you say so, I just might," Steven said, tapping his chin with a forefinger. He walked over to a shelf, closed his eyes, reached out, and pulled up a CD in his hands. He peeked an eye open and tilted his head at the album in his hands.
"Clash at Demonhead?"

//Friend of mine recorded that,// he said, walking over and leaning in for a better look. //Ever heard of Envy Adams? Used to be a student at the school, actually. She delivered that CD by hand a while back, in person.//
[OOC: Sorry! I got eaten by the errands beast!]

He looked around at all the music again. "How many of these are from people you've met?"
He was full of questions, per usual.

... Shut up.
//She, ah, was also a student.//
At the school. Not necessarily of music.

He gasped with sudden ideas racing through his mind. "Did she have a big demonhead? Or did she do a big fight with one?"
He was taking the name a little literally.

//She's level-headed,// Jono replied, amused. //And ambitious. But so far as I'm aware, there was no actual demon head involved in the making of this album.//

He paused, ducking his head for a moment. He decided to share something a little personal with his trusted teacher. "Sometimes, when I do it, I like to think that it's my Mom guiding me."
no subject
//Well, I hope you like her choice,// he decided, slipping behind the counter. //You'll have to let me know what you think, hm?//
no subject
"Oh, I will," Steven said with a nod. "I think I'm going to hurry back to my room and listen to it right away, actually."
no subject
... But seriously, Jono really hoped Steven liked it.
