Groovy Tunes, Saturday
Alright, if Jono was going to do some kind of terrible-idea Valentine's party at the Boards, he was going to need... something. Something in particular, in fact, that he didn't usually keep at the Boards. Fortunately, he just so happened to carry that something at his other job.
Which was why Jono was spending most of his Groovy Tunes shift today asking he little blue guys what their opinions on particular karaoke machines happened to be. He'd check them out himself, but... well...
Look, he had no mouth. Clearly the karaoke machine wasn't for him.
It just meant that he was going to spend the rest of the day listening to the blue guys singing 'la la la' into various microphones. Sigh.

He stuck his head in the door, watched for a moment, then gave Jono a bemused look. "What - do I want to know?"

Look, he had a bit of a technical difficulty in that area.

"What's the equipment for? And...who are they?" They were very blue.

He was cut off by another exuberant chorus of 'La la la la la!'
//... Right. And these are my tenants. Sort of. They live under the shelving. I'm charging them rent.//
Thanks for that, Fandom.

If the weird, shirtless, Lilliputian equivalent of himself, back in the day.

And without fish lips.
"They seem to appreciate singing, at least."

Which he'd only spent limited amounts of time in, admittedly, and had kind of been avoiding lately anyhow.

Dazzler hadn't been the first musician to jump to mind, admittedly. But if he had to choose between Alison and Sugar, it really wasn't any contest.

And how.

Yes, he was on a first-name basis with Dazzler, by virtue of them both being idiots with an occasional X.

He jerked a thumb in the direction of the little blue guys.

Because music.
//But we can hook you up with a basic stereo. Plays CDs and radio. If you're feeling extra ambitious you can even plug an mp3 player into it. Though admittedly that's most things these days.//

There was one on his phone. He hadn't figured that out yet.

Sigh.
//Well, sooner or later that's how it's all gonna be, and I'll be out of the CD business,// Jono replied, shrugging his shoulders. //Which isn't the end of the world, just so long as people still buy instruments and sound equipment, I suppose.//

Hey, he was still getting the hang of the internet!
