The Boards, Sunday Afternoon

Well, Jono had auditioned people for the band last weekend. He supposed at the very least, he could open the Boards today for people to discuss what in the world they were going to do with the band, today.

He didn't have the heart to turn anyone away. They were all talented. Or, if not talented... ah... enthusiastic. So he'd left ~~handwavy~~ messages for everyone who had auditioned, telling them that they were in if they wanted to be, and they were welcome to join him at the Boards today to discuss where to go from here. And then he'd ordered pizza, because if having a band (sort of) wasn't an occasion to order pizza, he didn't know what was.

Hell, he'd even brought his bass guitar along. Just in case talking today wrapped up quickly and people wanted to play something.

Shit, it seemed like maybe they could actually pull this off. That was... it was nice.

[OOC: Open! Feel free to stop on by, even if you didn't try out for the band. There's pizza.]

Not that Jono feels he has to bribe you to be here, but, hey, people will do anything if there's pizza, right?

Hannibal ate before he came, thank you.

But he'd brought his own beer, and was willing to share with Jono.

There was a lot of pizza, right? Because Pinkie might just eat a whole pie on her own. There should probably be a lot of pizza.

//So, ah... we have enough people for a band. Or two. But hell if I know what kind of band features drums, guitar, a keyboard and a piano, the triangle, and an oboe.//

And his bass guitar, if it came to that. Sure.

//So... I guess here is where we bounce around ideas,// he shared. //Do we want to all form one band, and try to make it work with what we've got? Or split ourselves down the middle? Maybe have one rock band and one that does more traditional, classical sounding music?//

And if they did that, where the hell would they put the llama with the triangle?

The llama with the triangle would stay far away from Hannibal, by preference.

"It would seem more oriented toward rock music," Hannibal admitted. "And I can play theremin if Lucille would prefer the keyboard; that would give us a more modern and electronic sound."

Apart from Dr Lecter, whom Lucille obviously looked forward to being in a band with, there was a llama with a triangle, a pink pony girl and Dante. It was hard till decide who was the worst here.

She considered reconsidering the decision to join, but she was a good musician and perhaps Mr Starsmore could make this work.

"Jazz/rock fusioni!" Pinkie cheered. "We should probably just jam it out and see what happens first, huh?"

"That sounds like a very sensible idea," Hannibal agreed. Though that might involve more triangle than either of them wanted.

Pfft. So long as that triangle was played with enthusiasm, Pinkie would be all over it.

"Yay! I'll get a drum kit!"

"I don't care, as long as the band's named after me."

Kuzco: a joy to work with, as always.

He bought pizza he can't eat. He's dedicated to this.

Anyway, he's here if there's anything you want to discuss with him without the rest of the group listening in.

I didn't completely forget about this because of the new episode of Star Wars Rebels which totally didn't make me cry, hush now.
