"Maybe we can find some of those old fashioned costumes that are incredibly creepy," Tony suggested. "So he can be reminded of his childhood."

You know, the sort that would lead a modern, sane person to shout 'NOPE' and back out of the room.

"Oh, like one of them clowns outta serial killer nightmares or the cartoon character masks made from asbestos an' children's tears," Hardison said, nodding. "Yeah, I always wanted to pee myself at a Halloween party."

"Man, I'm black!" Hardison protested. "How you gonna do me dirty like that, man? I ain't gonna survive long enough for the hors d'oeuvres to get eaten!"

Rude, Tony! His boyfriend was making those hors d'oeuvres!

"Next you're gonna tell me you rented the creepiest house on the island, but it's okay, they totally cleaned up after that serial killer hacked his way through the asylum or somethin'."

"Hey now, I'm the rich guy who will probably get the more gruesome death," Tony replied. "It'll be some kind of poetic death. Probably murdered by a Ferrari."

They possibly needed to stop watching so many movies.

"Now I want to know who our final girl would be."

"I mean, I'd put my money on Parker against any masked movie villain you wanna name," Hardison said. "But then, ain't many women on this island that ain't true for."

Honestly, his plan was to hide behind Eliot and whichever woman was closest and come out when the bloodshed was over.

"Parker, Kitty, Zoe, Ghanima...Which one of them you think is gonna go down to some whack dude armed with a trowel an' a sad childhood?"

Do it in the living room, where your pants were up and there was plenty of room to run. That was Hardison's motto.

Because that's what everyone thought when they saw Captain America. 'Bad influence.'

He was a drama queen who jumped off buildings and took the time to remove Avengers badges from his uniform after quitting the team because he was just that petty.

And Tony loved him dearly.

God help him.

"You know, I used to worry I was a bad influence on him."
