Groovy Tunes, Sunday
Jono was sort of hard at work at the music shop today.
He was... at least going through the motions, at the music shop today.
Okay, he came in today, turned the stereo on, and was now texting back and forth with Jubilee, who was telling him all about what Shogo had put her through that morning, complete with photos of him laughing in the woods near the school's new location, keeping company with a pair of raccoons. Lee had nearly lost her bloody mind, but apparently the raccoons were friends of Lin, and so Shogo was completely fine.
That conversation had led into talk about the students and how they were settling in, and how the powers-that-be were considering splitting the students up into classes depending on what sort of training they needed, which Jono was... mostly on board with, except that Lee was being spare on the details, which was something she generally did with him when she knew his reply was going to be less than thrilled.
A good two hours of prying got him the answer he needed but hadn't particularly wanted, and so Jono was going to spend the rest of the free hours of his shift with his face in his hands, somewhat disgruntled about being the one assigned to train up what seemed most likely to be the X-Men's next generation of heavy hitters. He couldn't deny that he was in the best position to train any of them the self-control they needed in order to even just get by in life, given their power-sets. But...
Ugh. He'd do it. Of course he would. He couldn't not. But he knew how these things turned out. He'd danced that dance himself, after all.
