Sparkle could be going to China right now. Right now. But instead he was being a responsible part-time college student, and staying behind for the sake of finishing up projects and actually attending his class on Wednesday.

So, naturally, he was kind of sulking today at the shop. Why wouldn't he? Sure, the idea of actually being a chaperone to a bunch of teenagers on a school trip abroad didn't super appeal to him, but it sure beat sticking around here, doing battle with faux fur.

At least his day picked up a little around noon when he realized he'd gotten in a shipment of cute raincoats sometime during the week and they needed to he put out on display. Flowers! Cute fruit patterns! Foxes and pandas and frogs! Yes!

It was no China, but it was still delightful.

StuCo president was enough for me.

There is also far less glitter involved in real life politics than in StuCo.

And that's the true tragedy, really.

The guy named Sparkle might have had a bias.

Would your place be covered in glitter if you didn't have a roommate?

The would be fibre optics and a disco ball, damn right.

And it would be horrifying.
