Caritas- Tuesday
Kitty finally got good news today, and she was in a ridiculously good mood about it. She even hugged Tino on the way in, and then promptly went into her office to change clothes and come back to the bar, because ew.
So, that's the kind of Kitty you were getting at the bar tonight. Be warned.

Having spent most of her day in a futile effort to leave the island, including literally trying to walk to the mainland and yet still ending up in that godforsaken parking lot, Cristina was more than ready to take Kitty up on that offer of free booze.
Once she stopped staring at the band, anyway.
"Those guys do not look healthy," she noted. "Even for musicians."

They'd done a good job on their look though. Cristina hadn't seen skin that shade of gray since --
lexie under the fuselage, the coyotes howling
"Tequila. Lots and lots of tequila."

At least she wasn't crying yet.

Poor Joe. It wasn't easy being the bartender to a bunch of hyper, horny young surgeons.

"Thank you. Though I'm actually going to do everything possible to not need to be operated on," she warned.

"That's probably for the best. For all I know, you don't have any organs either."
Jono had really thrown her pretty hard.

And, really, if even Rosa could notice it, that meant something. All cheerfulness was sort of like indistinguishable white noise to her.

And then remembering things caught up with her. "Oh, right, the baby thing. Congrats. Girls are cool as hell."
And to her credit, she actually meant it, and you might even be able to tell!

Nooooo, really?

"Kitty," he said, grinning as he slid into his seat at the bar. "I'm gonna need my new usual, if you don't mind."
He was going to pretend it was boozy. It'd be great.

He really needed to sit his Padawan ass down and meditate for a while so that he could at least get it through his thick skull that he was just as safe now as he had been before newbie day.
"Looks like yours is going better, though?"
It was hard to miss that much happy.

"Well, congratulations, then," he said, and then... were high-fives a thing to do, here? Because he was leaning over the bar for a high-five.
He was not normally a high-five person, but this seemed like a special occasion.

At least not for a long while, yet.
"So, tell me about Lexi? I didn't get much of a chance to get to know her while I was herding my own around."
