Fandom Counseling, Tuesday
Hannibal's husband was back to himself, so Hannibal was on his own in his office this week, no viper wrapped around him or hiding in his pocket.
At least it would be safe for any patients who showed up that were afraid of snakes.
And in betweenNPC patients, he had time to catch up on more paperwork. It was a mystery to him how there was so much on this island, but somehow it never seemed to end.
The doctor was in!

Hey, Hannibal.
Guess who was human-shaped again and antsy. Go on. Guess.
//Getting a lot of work done today?//
It would be a difficult guess, but Jono was sure you were up to the task.

He looked up at Jono, amused. "I was. I suspect that I'm not anymore."
He didn't sound too unhappy about that, no.

Jono really didn't figure he was going to go quite that route, no.
//Didn't have that quite in mind, really. Been bouncing some lyrics around, actually.//

He wrapped an arm around Jono as he let Jono lead the way to the store.
no subject
Well. Maybe he could? But considering the parts of his body that didn't generally get mutilated on a regular basis were... minimal... he was going to probably be unbuckling his belt for this one.

And then he just sort of reached down and traced down one half of that v-line, trailing right down low.
//... It's, ah, one of the few places where I'll still be able to appreciate it without having to worry about anything happening to it.//
And he wasn't big on arm tattoos, so sue him.

Because any other situation that would see him naked in public would probably involve having to start over again in a newly reconstructed body, and who even knew if his subconscious would remember to include the tattoo?

Jono pondered that for a moment.
//... I think that, I'd like.//
Hannibal did have good handwriting. And it was better than using a font or something.

Jono blinked over at him at that, a little surprised.
//What, to match?//
no subject
He enjoyed bucking expectations from time to time.
no subject
Jono blinked.
//Honestly, even I didn't expect that,// he admitted. //Smiths lyrics?//

//Could pull from the same chorus,// he offered. //'How can you say I go about things the wrong way?' Could do that bit in my writing.//
Because Jono was absolutely the kind of sap who would suggest they get lyrics from the same chorus in each other's writing.

Normally he wouldn't be at all interested in this sort of thing. He still wasn't entirely sure what he was thinking. It just seemed right, somehow. And it was, after all, something he had never done before.
no subject
He was only kind of joking a little bit.
no subject
"Once we have these done, we'll have to be very careful of them for a while," he mused. "And then we'll have to celebrate."
no subject
Any excuse, right?

//Why, Doctor Lecter,// Jono said, putting a hand over... where his heart was meant to be, anyway. //I do believe you're suggesting something quite intimate indeed.//
Please, please talk dirty to him, Hannibal. Jono was absolutely here for it today.

//Ah, it's not all that bad. Little pinchy, that's all.//
Sure, he'd probably screamed like a bloody banshee when he'd gotten his first tattoo. But in fairness, his first tattoo had been given to him in infancy, and it had been terrible.
He was still not sorry to see it gone. Again.

//Where're you getting yours, might I ask?//
If you were going for the same place to match, Hannibal, Jono was basically going to be beside himself, here.

It wasn't a complaint. There were some surprises that Jono appreciated very much indeed.

She was here because, well, her Papa worked here.
"Hi, Papa!" she said, peering into his office hopefully. "Are you busy?"
