Caritas, Sunday
If Atton had known what was going on, he'd have been relieved that it skipped him. Which would've been one thing to feel relieved about, at least.
Sure, he'd taken a shower before heading towards the bar, but he still looked... exactly like how he felt: like he'd been clobbered by a terentatek after spending at least twenty-four hours awake in a moist cave - not dirty.
... Not that anything like that had happened to him.
"Days like this would almost drive a guy to drink," he muttered while he sipped his grape juice and waited for customers.

And so in the spirit of that relief, she blurted the first thing to cross her brain. "Your hair looks fucking great tonight." Beat. Added brightly, "Hi. Welcome back to another wacky fuckery-filled weekend in Fandom!"

Atton didn't sound particularly put off.

She considered the date and made a noise in her throat, pulling out her phone to cancel class for the morrow. "It just occurred to me I'm on Earth and tomorrow's April 1. Class is cancelled. There's just no way I'm giving the island that chance."
