Caritas- Tuesday
It appeared that people were normal today, and if she was being honest, Kitty didn't know if that meant it was going to be a great night at the bar, or if people were going to be in hiding.

And she'd actually been a little impressed with Sonia misguided attempts to claim her as a sister and take over her life if she hadn't shown up. She...kind of wondered just how much mileage she could still get out of Sonia Ramirez-slash-Diaz. It would be a pretty good identity to add to her repertoire.
So, for all intents and purposes, it was still Sonia who walked into Caritas that night, the little red dress making a reappearance, along with the slightly uncertain wobble of Sonia's stride in those matching pumps. She sat down at the bar in a spot that was not Rosa's usual spot.
"Oh," she said, sounding pleasantly surprised, accent still on point, with a warmth in her smile, "Kitty. Hello. It is good to see you again."

She put in a well=placed pause.
"And rats."
Another.
"And mosquitos the size of your thumb, but sometimes they put up the nets."

"Didnt really go with the outfit." Lies. She had a jacket for every occasion. "Do you like it? Sonia picked it out."
And seemed to like it so much, Rosa was almost surprised she hadn't woken up in it.

to spam youit?"Look. You spend all day trying to convince a very irritated cat that you really weren't still trying to alternately eat it, poison it, or hack it up into pieces to leave on someone's doorstep, and then try telling her you didn't desperately want a drink afterwards, especially when the effort were wholly unsuccessful and you still have a very irritated (and reasonably so) cat waiting for you when you got back.

Her days of being concerned about what other versions of herself were up to was way, way beyond her, really, but the whole thing with Pancakes? Not so much.

Please let things be better for you than the guy who just spent three days as a paranoid wizard?
... Which was really mostly awful only because that wasn't much of a stretch for him.

"Buy you a Kanan?" she offered.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. thatsthejoke.jpg

It was a good joke, okay?
"Some weekend, huh?"
Last time around he'd gotten off easy, he'd been a cat.

She hadn't killed anyone, despite her worst intentions, so Summer was definitely chalking that up as a win. Silver lining, and all that. And, as far as she knew, not realizing that that scruffy-looking nerfherder (she'd been brushing up on slang from the holo-pedia and was very proud of herself for it, shut up) with his bladder-challenged cat at the diner was him, she thought maybe she was in the clear about him knowing just how awful she'd been.
"I might not be for much longer, though," she said, "between Pancakes and Jack."

"Jack didn't seem terribly thrilled with your general outlook on cats on Sunday, no," he noted. "How did Pancakes fare, this weekend?"
He figured she'd be significantly more upset if she had actually eaten her cat. So.
