Kitty hadn't really noticed what was going on before going in to work really pretty early to get stuff done.

And then after a few minutes, she had slightly more immediate concerns, like paws. Sorry, Kitty. Looks like your Fandom weirdness immunity was over.

It was kind of unnecessary how Tino picked her up and propped her up on the bartop like that, though.

Clint hadn't noticed much about what was happening in town either, having spent most of the day inside with Lexi. It was probably bad form to bring a baby in a sling to a bar, but it was better than letting her run free, right?

"Kitty? I need a beer and a juice," he said, peering around.

Kitty mewed at him from the bar.

Really, this was embarrassing. In front of the baby and everything.

Clint snickered and picked her up from the bar, holding her out in front of him. "Awww, now I have two adorable companions. This will be a good way to teach pet-caring skills, right?"

She was only five months old and had two dogs! And everything was terrible!

Kitty mewed at him unhappily.
