Atton had been back in Fandom for... wow, too long. His fingers were starting to itch, even without Mical's incessant calls, but who would he be if he didn't make contacting him difficult on Mical? Before you knew it, the guy would start expecting him to show up every time he called!

k, he texted Mical back.

He looked up from his phone. "Right, that's handled." Beat. Right. His job. "Anybody need any drinks?!"

Sia has gone home and immediately gotten sucked back into work. But she was also very serious about taking breaks and not going insane later.

And really, for as much as she meant what she'd said and was okay with everything that had happened, she needed to check in. Which was why she took a seat at the bar and said, "What do you feel like making today?"

Atton was happy to repress absolutely everything about that week, and he was going to continue to do so even as she materialized at the bar.

Sat down at the bar. Either or.

"I don't know. I feel like blue's been done too many times and red is boring."

"You didn't appreciate the time I suggested purple," she said.

"We also did green recently, didn't we? Uhhh... I guess there's yellow?"

"Then yellow. But not a margarita." Had to challenge him a little.

"Yellow but not a margarita," Atton mused. "Let's extrapolate from that. Nothing citrusy, that'll make this a challenge."

"Does anyone else order like I do?" Sia wondered.

You know, like a crazy person trying to test the bartender.

Atton chuckled. "I mean, they ask me for suggestions sometimes," he said, "But nobody else makes it sound like a competition."

"I suppose in a way you are competing against my drink expectations," she mused. "No pressure."

[suitably_heroic]

"I mean, I'm the one who set those expectations, right?" Atton said. "How hard can it be to beat me?"

"Those do sound like famous last words," Sia pointed out.

[suitably_heroic]

"But hey, I'll die watching you get drunk."

"You are the only person in existence who would make that sound like a good thing," she said with a little smile.
