Caritas- Tuesday
After radio, Kitty had gone to the bar, and proceeded to do some gardening. The back room was covered in jungle foliage, and not that anyone went in there much but she wants to make sure there weren't any nasty surprises. The rest of the place just looked on theme. That included Tino, who Kitty was trying to ignore thanks to the fact that he thought wearing a loincloth to work was a good idea.
At least right up until she saw him trying to cue up the music by trying to get a small pterodactyl to put its beak on the record player he'd set up.
And then she'd had to get a pterodactyl out of the bar.
WELCOME TO CARITAS
NO DINOSAURS CAN EAT/MAIM YOU IN HERE

And so it was Stance who barreled up to the bar today first, giving a spirited attempt at a bark that still sounded more like a bird-cough, tail wagging behind him as best as he could manage. If there was any question who the rainbow-spotted deinonychus belonged to, Kanan was ambling up to the bar not far behind, grinning a little.
"By popular request," he greeted. "One dogosau-- what the hell is Tino wearing?"

There was no saving you now, Kanan.
Stance was doing that thing! Where he! Was jumping up! Trying to see! Kitty! Over the bar!
Standing up on his hindpaws would have worked so much better if he had forepaws, too. But he just had stubby little theropod arms, which he couldn't reach up very well with. So! Jumping!

"I'm trying to just make him hide in the stockroom but to be fair, it is kind of covered in vines right now."

Kanan had to check.
Stance, meanwhile, was going to just keep on wagging that butt of his - that tail was probably a safety risk to the knees of innocent bystanders - and nuzzle his face all up against Kitty's hands.

For the greater good, and all that.
"Keep an eye on my dog? This won't take more than ten seconds anyway."
Plasma weapons were great for that.

Kanan just chuckled, screwing the lightsaber parts together on his way to the storage room, disappearing into it and closing the door behind him.
What a man did with his lightsaber was between him and the vines, apparently, though when he came out of the room again about a minute later, his lightsaber was in pieces on his belt again, and he had a good bundle of vines with seared ends slung over one shoulder.
"Should I just throw these in the trash, or do you have any use for any of this?"

"And while you do that, you can have plausible deniability while I stuff your bartender into the supply room," he said, smirking a little.
For the good of everyone.

There was no fumbling with full arms and door handles because doors were of course for other people.

"You heard the woman, Tino," Kanan announced, dusting his hands off and making his way over to the loincloth atrocity and the man who thought it would be a good idea to go out in public wearing it. "Make this easier on yourself, just head into the supply room peacefully, would you?"
Don't make him tell you how much you wanted to go in there, bud.

"Can dinosaurs eat or maim Tino in here?" she asked, followed by a very sincere, almost desperate, "Please?"

Which, given radio, she could buy. But she also wondered if he'd already had this and was just seizing the opportunity.

"Everything in my closet's fine," she said. "I'd like to make a donation."

And no.

She returned not long afterwards, this time with one hand lifted to better shield her eyes, as she was convinced on the way out that simply not looking wasn't good enough, and then dropped two sets of standard issue NYPD sweatpants and sweatshirts, one gray, one navy, onto the counter.
Two sets, Tino. In case something 'happened' to one of them.
And if something happened to both sets, then clearly he was just an asshole. But they did already know that, didn't they?
"And you can keep them," she added, shoving the sweats down the bar a little in Tino's general direction.
She did not want them back.
