Breq was humming along to the music the stereo was playing, while dusting the shelves and sweeping the floor. Of course owning a shop couldn't be a permanent thing, but for now she found herself content with the situation. She went from humming to singing. Yes, this was only temporary, only until she could get back to her universe and do what she had to do, but until then someone had to look after this place.

She would make sure to do that properly, and hopefully she would find a new employee or two among the new students.
