The overflowing suggestion box was sitting on the bar when Kitty got in today, and she decided she had to give in on this one. "Fine," she said, "let's go through it."

So between serving drinks, Kitty was reading from slips of paper. "No, I don't think camel rides will help us compete with axe throwing."

"What's this about camels and axe throwing?" asked Rosa who, out of a lack of inspiration for narrative that day, happened to approach the bar at an incredibly convenient time.

"That's Tino's suggestion to compete with the Devil's Nest," Kitty said, frowning at a piece of paper. "Along with slumber party night. I think we did do that once."

Tino probably meant it grosser.

"Oh. I thought maybe we'd be riding camels while throwing axes."

Rosa's disappointment was evident; it was mostly for her misunderstanding, but the fact that this was coming from Tino didn't set well with her, either. But she did grin a little.

"Takes me back. Winter, 2010. I think."

"I already have so many questions," Kitty said. "Like 'wait what?' and 'why?'"

Rosa shrugged. "Winter in northern Africa's great," she said, "and why not?"

"The camels were okay, right?"

"Kitty." Rosa leveled a look at her. "I'm a mystery, not a monster. The camels were fine."

"I'm just saying, I've seen videos of axe throwing fails," Kitty pointed out. "Admittedly that's not something I normally worry about."

"The key word there," said Rosa, "is fail. Which is a word that doesn't belong in any sentence that also involves me and axes."

"...True," Kitty allowed. "What drink will make it up to you?"
