Kitty had not ordered this much chocolate vodka, and yet this much chocolate vodka was here. It had come on a pallet. It was entirely possible to through a lot of chocolate vodka, but umm.

In the meantime bottles were pretty much everywhere as they tried to figure out how to store all this.

It would always be a little worrisome, seeing 'HELP' on the specials board, but also, it came with a small thrill of excitement from that irrepresible sadist deep within Rosa.

Okay, well, maybe not so deep. She wore it pretty prominently right there on her sleeve.

"Well," she stated, "at least that makes my decision on what to get easier. What happened? Do I want to know?"

"I don't know. It's a very specific problem," Kitty answered.

"It is," Rosa agreed. Emphatically. Especially for Rosa, who was having a bit of a harder time keeping a smirk down than usual.

"I think I can help, though," she added,with that sort of dedicated what are friends for sort of tone that she knew meant Kitty would understand the deep sacrifice that this was clearly going to demand from her.

"Thank god," Kitty said, because if anyone cane in for something else she was telling them they only had chocolate vodka now. "What kind of goocolaye vodka-based drink would you like?"

And that was the question, because, let's face it, chocolate vodka was pretty much an atrocity, but Rosa was never one to shy away from atrocious beverages so long as they had alcohol in them.

Sometimes to her detriment, but that was a problem for Future Rosa.

"Hmmm," she said, narrowing her eyes as she went through a list of options to find the least terrible one, "probably just stick with a basic chocolate martini. Mudslides are tempting, but dangerous."

Mudslides definitely fell in line with bellinis, in that respect.

"Many a terrible decision has been made on mudslides," Kitty agreed. "Chocolate martini, coming right up while you tell me how you've been."

Rosa shrugged a little. "Not much to tell there," she said. "You know, outside of goat demons wrecking havoc on the start of the semester, things have been pretty dull around here. I think the station cat is indoctrinating my dog toward nefarious and evil plots, and I'm mostly hoping my class goes as expected this week, unlike last week."

You know. Normal Fandom crap.

"What about you?"

Kitty shrugged. "Missed the first week of classes and birthday week got derailed by the goat demon, but things are looking up? Because there's no goat demon."

While taking Lexi out for a walk, Clint had been planning on just poking his head into the bar to make sure Kitty wasn't dealing with anything too weird. Seeing HELP on the board made him come all the way in though, stroller and all. "Hey, what's up?"

"Hi, something terrible happened, and that something terrible is vodka," Kitty greeted him.

"Hey, somewhere Natasha is feeling very offended on behalf of her national drink," Clint teased. "Can I help?"

A little hand came out of the stroller and tugged at his pants, and he looked down. "You don't get to help yet, unless your mom wants a hug."

"I always want a hug," Kitty said, "also this is chocolate vodka, and I think Natasha's comments would be very different with that context."

Clint made a face at that, and pulled Lexi out of the stroller, handing her over to Kitty. "Maybe after a bottle of the good stuff, she might be willing. What do you even make out of chocolate vodka? It might not be that bad for dessert type drinks."

"Hi, baby," Kitty said, taking Lexi for as long as she'd allow. "Vodka martinis and mudslides have been suggested, and that's what I'm doing for class this week so I'm sure there are more ideas."

Lexi made a happy noise and wrapped her arms around Kitty's neck. Hope you wanted a baby necklace for a while!

"I'll take a mudslide to get some of this off your hands. Do you want to make it or want me to?"
