The Park, Monday Afternoon
Was there something in the air? Lucifer could almost taste it on the tip of his tongue, but he couldn't put a name to it. It seemed to float in through his nose, in small enough quantities that it didn't affect his celestial biology - which meant he couldn't place it.
He'd just picked up a chocolate coffee drink at the Perk, but the oddness of it made him so curious he opted for a walk. Through the park, occasionally sniffing the air, occasionally sipping his drink.
"Strange," he said.
Loud sip.
"...Ugh, I'm out of coffee already?!"

Actually no, she'd probably literally never say something like that out loud.

This really was just trying to work out frustrations. It was more impressive when she was actually practicing.
...Also why was she telling him that?

"No," he said.

And because she didn't hate it, which felt like a problem.
