Caritas- Tuesday
This week was much different with a fifteen-month-old than it used to be, and yet Kitty would still rather be at home than here. There were Three Minute Date flyers all around, Tino had gotten here early and had left a book of dirty-named drinks on the bar to serve as a menu, and if you've never heard a suggestive song played by a zombie band, well, tonight was your night.
Though at the first chords of "Hot in Herre" Kitty looked at Tino and said, "Do it and you're fired."
He did not take off all his clothes. No matter how hot it got in herre.

Re: Bar
Still, Rosa was also very stubborn, and she liked a good challenge, and so she, perhaps foolishly, decided she was still going to go into Caritas tonight for her usual Tuesday round of drinking.
She got to the bar, leaned into her usual spot, opened her mouth to say something while getting a good look at Kitty, closed her mouth, appeared to be reconsidering some things, and then just pushed off the bar again.
"Nope," she said, lifting her hands helplessly and ignoring that fact that someone already used this joke today but whatever, it had been planned for days now, it was still getting used! "I can't.
"Take it as a compliment!" she shouted as she turned to leave and head right back oout.
Re: Bar
The point was, there was a tall, very built woman in leather, her absurdly large sword across her back, stalking quietly into the bar and taking a seat.
And asking, very softly and half hidden behind her hair, "Can I get an ale? I don't care which as long as it's strong."
Re: Bar
...That was flirtier than intended.
Re: Bar
... She had not intended that phrasing to be unfortunate, for the record.
Re: Bar
Re: Bar
Speaking of which, she took a long swig from the glass and set it down, already about a third of the way gone.
"Someone I know —" Beauregard — "thinks it's better to just dive right into things, you know, but I'd rather get warmed up first."
Oh god why was she saying this and also this was ABSOLUTELY NOT TMI ABOUT ANYONE'S PROCLIVITIES NO MATTER HOW IT SOUNDED OKAY.
Re: Bar
Re: Bar
She picked her glass back up and drained about half of what was left, then picked one of the flyers up off the bar. "Does this ... itch go away after a while?"
Please say yes. She didn't want to just assume here.
Re: Bar
Re: Bar
She was going to need it.
Re: Bar
Re: Bar
By which she was specifically thinking about the combination of frustration and guilt that she was basically wallowing in at present, but the sentiment applied in general, too.
Re: Bar
A second later she dropped her head as she registered what she said and sighed.
Re: Bar
"Doesn't mean it can't be hard again later on. Or so I've heard."
You know, she'd really been trying to not go there and it happened anyway, so now it was her turn to put her face in her hands and sigh.
Re: Bar
...Like so!
Re: Bar
Like she even knew.
Re: Bar
Sigh.
Re: Bar
It was a valid question, okay.
"Maybe I should just not leave my room for the rest of the week. That might be better."
Not like that, but who would believe that even if it was true, this week?
Re: Bar
For reasons.
Re: Bar
"I wonder ... is it any better if you go off the island?"
Could she even do that, or would the Stormlord not be okay with it?
Re: Bar
Re: Bar
Which Yasha was not thinking about. She wasn't. Really.
Re: Bar
Like kinda the one year she didn't have a boyfriend here yet.
Re: Bar
"That's kind of obvious though, isn't it?" Yasha maybe looked slightly pained as she asked that.
Re: Bar
Re: Bar
She looked at her drink, picked it up, and downed the entire thing in one go.
