Hey, look! Rosa came in and was actually going to stay today!

"Anytime I left the apartment," she offered, because she figured Kitty would appreciate at least a little bit of commentary, "those were last weeks bad decisions. Except maybe the three minute dates, that wasn't so bad."

There had been a lot of weirdness, which, in retrospect, Rosa appreciated.

"Ooh, what happened at Three Minute Dates?" Kitty asked, like she hadn't been there.

Rosa definitely gave Kitty a bit of a look there, but she liked her, so she'd oblige. "Tragically abandoned due to brain death Two were completely average," she said, although she definitely could stand looking at Eric more and that other had that weird creep vibe she was way too into, "one was a kid, and one was one of my old students."

She had people who were former students that she could apparently date now, and it was super not cool.

"But the one in the middle was a real stinker."

Her relationship was weird.

"Was that the makeout round?" she asked, innocently.

"That was the makeout round," Rosa, who seemed to be suffering from a momentary smile-muscle control malfunction, confirmed.

Had she ever seen Rosa smile like that? It was like seeing a unicorn!

"So you had a good week."

And it even sort of lingered for a bit, too!

"A great week," she mused. She'd slept through most of yesterday and was still pretty tired, even. "Barring, of course, when I actually had to do other stuff. Yours?"

"Good, aside from the toddler," Kitty said with just a little sigh. "We took off for a couple days at the end of it to try and get some distance from it all."

Rosa's expression went slightly sympathetic.

"I am very lucky," she decided, "that my dog actually seems to think being locked in a bathroom is an adventure. Throw a couple shoes in there for her, and she's good."

She also realized that this was much harder to get away with when it was a kid.

Which is why she had a dog.

"The great thing about dogs is you can leave them alone for a while," Kitty agreed. "God, was that easier with just dogs."

"Yeah," said Rosa, "and it's generally frowned upon if you do the same with kids."

Unfortunately.

"Glad you guys managed to get at least a little reprive, though."

"Same," Kitty said. "And now we settle into a nice, normal week that at least didn't have more kids showing up immediately."

She loved you, all ages of Lexi! But She needed a break.

There was a slight, considering pause, Rosa's brow furrowed as she put that into perspective.

"Does the kid thing usually follow the sex thing?" she asked, but she never was good at remembering things. "That's just kind of messed up. And now I'm kind of paranoid about the weekend."

She did not have a good record with the kid thing. Considering how things had gone the past few years, she'd wind up with some rando kid with Duke Crocker of something, ugh.

"Not always, but a lot. If we didn't wake up to them, we probably have some time," Kitty assured her.
