Caritas; Wednesday [02/19].
That evening, Summer had finally gotten around to introducing the zombies to snake jazz, although it was pretty clear that Tino was not a fan.
"Oh, come on," said Summer, who was probably having a little too much fun dancing to it behind the bar, but it was impossible not to, "don't you love it? My little brother got bitten by a snake in space and killed it with a hubcap, and my grampa had to scan its planet's culture for an anti-venom, and they found this." She threw up her hands a little and did a little twirl before letting her hips lead her to the next drink to make. "It's my jam!"
And then Tino had to go ahead and ask if you really could alter the course of an entire species' evoltuion like that without repreccussions?
"Gee," said Summer, rolling her eyes at Tino, "I don't know, Tino; can you alter the course of being a giant fucking nerd?
"It was a rhetorical question, Tino," Summer added after he opened his mouth to respond, turning away and jumping back on that jam. "We know you can't."

And who really had the obsession if she was seizing the chance to complain about it whenever she could? Surely, you'd think they would have better things to talk about than her jello.
She met Lucifer with a bright smile filled with innocence. "Would you like one? First one's on me."

Considered it.
Then slammed it back.

He hopped up onto a bar stool and grinned at her.
"An' fit loch daein'?"

hopelessly abandinedthree-minute date had left her completely endeared to this weird talking cat like he was her new best friend. It helped that it appeared that she'd gotten herself a new regular, now, too."One jello shot, coming right up!" she said, happily setting one down in front of him. "And what else? I might need you to come around again on that last part, too, didn't quite get it."

Kitty still did not actually know she'd gained a new employee, for the record.
"An', ah, weel, I've bin tryin' tae bide it ay trooble but yer spyug an' rodent infestations waur quite over-friendly lest week, aye? It's braw 'at they've calmed doon thes week. Ah wasnae quite keen oan aw ay 'at."

Especially not now that Cait had a himself a nice umbrellad mai tai.
"Well, welcome aboard, then," she said. "Maybe I'll have to return the favor and stop in on Friday for a few drinks, too. And you kind of get used to the weird weeks like the last one, but they come and they go. We're probably in for a quiet spell for a while where things get a little more normal, but normal's a pretty relative term around here, anyway."
She said, normally, to her talking cat coworker.

I'm offplanet- Just tell me the pollen is done,
Because after this morning, if it wasn't, she was staying home.

Either way, she smileda little at her phone before texting back.
It is. Fandom Base is all clear and free from excess foreign influence of a distinctly dirty nature, as far as I can tell.

Good, I can come back then. Thank you
She was not looking forward to coming back.

Which also said a lot about why Summer rarely went home anymore, too.
YW!! she texted back with a whole butt ton of hearts (although not nearly as many as she'd have likely sent BDG for these types of messages). Look forward to having you back but I'm glad you managed to get away for at least a LITTLE bit

But she'd hung up on a hot guy who was now going to tease her until the end of time.

But Summer really couldn't help a small flush of pride at those words staring up at her from her phone. Validation like that was nice and had always been hard to come by for her.
hey, like I said, it's hardly my first time at the sexually frustrated rodeo. But sometimes experience is the best teacher, right?

"If I have two jello shots, do I get a whiskey for free?"

Then followed it up with, "Make it three, and you're on."
Business had been pretty good tonight, really, and it's not like Seivarden usually had just the one drink.

She downed the three shots.

And this was coming from someone who was nineteen, Seivarden, so you knew it had to be bad.
"But," she added, "here comes the real question: were any of them complete and total bombs?"
