Along Apocalypse Ave, Thursday Evening
Dr. Linda wanted Lucifer back in therapy.
Well, those hadn't been the words, exactly. 'I'm worried about you' and 'would it be all right if I called you more often' were the specific phrases used. Whatever they were, though, she was clearly done leaving Lucifer to noodle at his own thoughts, and he couldn't entirely blame her.
But between that, and last week's mildly desperate high finally settling back down, he found himself restless. Not quite ready to escape back to the mainland, but not quite able to settle in his own home, either, he went for a stroll.
Along Apocalypse Ave, after nightfall, with the light settling on the water, Fandom was almost picturesque. Pretty, even. It still didn't make him long for a decent skyline any less, but at least roving meant he could put the roving thoughts down for a bit.

This one looked a whole lot more like a walk, though: her hands were stuffed in her pockets and her hood was up. But you probably had to be either Duke or her brother to know the difference.
She spotted Lucifer long before she was within distance to call out to him. Which meant she had some time to decide whether she wanted to do that in the first place or not.
"So you actually go outside, too."
(Guess she wanted to.)

Despite the exasperated tone, he looked faintly happy to see her.

She shrugged. "Thought maybe you just teleport between places."
She had not.

Might have been an opinion heavily influenced by her personal background, yes.

Take your pick: she meant a cab, but she hadn't actually tried the rickshaws either.

"... By portaling close enough that it doesn't make anyone hate anything?"

So far usually following an incident with a strange woman, although she really hoped that wasn't going to be a trend that continued.
"Look, I don't like just... wandering around on the mainland."

She said, to the devil. That was never gonna not be weird.

Not that it would help get much since Rosa kept driving away her customers but she was bored, okay?
