Caritas- Tuesday
The bar was having an event on Thursday, which meant that Kitty was trying to spend today making sure she had everything.
Tino was spending today in fishnets.
"I'm not going to say you can't wear it today, but you are jumping the gun a little," Kitty told him.
Eventually he went to change.
[Open bar!]

"Also," she added, after a brief moment of reveling in the novelty if being on this side of the bar, "do we have a Chief Mixologist, and, if not, can we, and can I be it?"
Sorry, Kitty. Someone went and put an Idea in Summer's head, and so now it apparently needed to be A Thing.

Sure.

So there was a moment of disappointment before Summer came in with, "I don't see you and Tino coming to the bar with unique and innovated gelatin-based cocktails that has, you have to admit, driven a significant amount of interest and traffic, though. You should see the one I'm working in for tomorrow, Kitty, this one is seriously some next level shit."

And one eyebrow was arching up. "You may have missed me and Tino putting together new drinks for the last nine years," she said. "And before you start digging in too much, remember that I've heard you harass our competition to let you drink against their rules and now you're asking for a title that looks good on a resume."
You shot yourself in the foot, Summer.

"I thought of it as a way to try to energize the market?" she tried, but it was pretty clear she knew that wasn't going to come close to working, but she had to try.
"But fair enough," she allowed, hands up in surrender. "Mistakes were made, lessons were learned, I am officially off of that whole thing now, anyway. I just got super caught up, which is something I am actively trying to be better about."
She clearly still had a lot of work to do, though.
"Either way," she concluded, "it was just an idea, give it some thought, because I would definitely be interested in the job."

Except to offer out a still sheepish but appreciative, "Thanks, Kitty."

"So," she said, once at her usual spot, "Rocky Horror
or whatever meta forthis week, huh?"no subject
You know you want to wear a bustier, Rosa.

"I haven't decided," Rosa admitted, knowing full well that admitting as much meant that it was probably about to be decided for her. "I'm torn between my love of leather and my hatred for actually participating in things."
Said Miss Way To Serious about Wednesday Shenanigans over here, but that was different. That was a competition.

Not Tino. Ignore Tino.

"I know," Rosa allowed. "It's a conundrum."

She wasn't sure that'd work, but she was the dork who had to at least say it.
no subject
But, yeah, like a smart person would say no.

Kitty was not the type to participate, probably, but seriously, it would probably go over well.
