Rey's warehouse- Friday afternoon

Rey's day started easy enough, running through the course the opposite way than usual while being followed by drones, which was a totally normal thing to do. As it turned out, it was a very good thing that her reflexes/danger sense were good, and that she'd gotten pretty good at the jumps.

Because as soon as she finished the course and jumped down, she told the woodchucks, "We had a deal!"

"He and Summer are both very interested in how those are working, too," she said.

"Well, I thought they were fun," Anakin said, grinning. "How about you?"

[thatwaslucky]

"I like them," she said. "But they're better used on the course than just knocking things away, unless I really need to refocus."

Anakin nodded. "I agree."

[thatwaslucky]

"It is kind of notice to be able to say telekinesis hasn't been much of a problem," she admitted.

Anakin grinned. "That's an essential port of being a Jedi," he said. "Telekinesis has to be another muscle to stretch. It'll keep you safe."

"Is that what I'm using when I'm... I don't know, propelling myself forward, or whatever?" Rey wondered.

[sith_happened]

"Yes," Anakin said, nodding.

[thatwaslucky]

"Then I'm going to be really annoyed I had that much trouble figuring that part out," Rey decided.

Anakin laughed. "Well, it's the part that requires the leap of faith. You can't generally logic yourself into believing in the Force when you first discover it."

"But still!"

Yep. That was all she had.

Anakin laughed at her. "Do you disagree?"

[thatwaslucky]

"No," she said after a moment. "But I fell into the deep end when I first started, you'd think I could figure things out more easily."

[sith_happened]

"You've caught on quickly enough," he said.

[thatwaslucky]

"I can do better," she stated.

[sith_happened]

"I'm sure," Anakin said, smiling. "That's what all of the practice is for."

"Yeah," she nodded. "So what should we do this week?"

[sith_happened]

"What do you think you need the most work on right now?" Anakin asked.

[thatwaslucky]

"Forms, probably," she said after a moment. "I've maybe gotten behind on VI a little."

[sith_happened]

"We can go through it again, then spar?" Anakin offered.

[thatwaslucky]

"Sounds perfect," she said with a nod.

[sith_happened]

Anakin ignited his lightsaber and settled into the first position. "Half speed first, then full," he said.

Rey nodded and ignited her own, settling into position for a moment before starting.
