So, apparently Tino had gotten a gremlin bite.

So, apparently this meant he was going to spend tonight onstage, thinking he was the office moose.

Soooo it had taken Kitty a very long time to figure out that that's what he was doing and that it was gremlin-related and he wasn't just being weird.

So Kitty was just going to work and pretend this wasn't happening.

Tino was on the stage so that almost made Rosa reconsider her usual drinking night tonight, but no, no, she definitely needed her usual drinking night tonight.

"Any specials for people whose boyfriends got sucked up through a rip in the space-time continuum and are stuck in the Stupid Version of Brooklyn and there's currently nothing they can do about it going on tonight, Kitty?"

"Just whiskey, I think," said Rosa, figuring it was best to keep things simple when things got a little complicated. "And, apparently, an extremely localized black hole in my kitchen last night is what happened. I was in Baltimore on a case, but it got Tightpants, and some tech nerd tracked it down this morning to stabilise it so it doesn't suck anyone else through."

You know. Typical Tuesday.

"Well, that's good," Kitty said, frowning as she poured the drink and slid it over. "Stabilizing it also means it should be easier to get him back."

"Well," said Rosa, as she took the drink in hand, "he's a super-human spider-person from the future. I'm sure he'll figure something out."

And while Rosa's tone sounded measured and casual, the way she pull back that drink and set it back down empty might have been a slight hint of maybe a wee tiny undercurrent of worry beneath it all.

"Well," Rosa said, with a nudge of the glass in the anticipation of a refill, "it is Stupid Brooklyn, so that's at least a top five thanks to the PDNY."

Please, please let something good come out of this in that she might finally have someone to truly commiserate with her over how messed up that was.

"Sounds like it," said Rosa with a shrug. "Tech nerd sent some kind of drone in for a visual, saw it clear as day o the side of a cop car. So I hope it's the same Stupid Brooklyn, because I don't think I can handle more PDNY AUs."

One was already too many.
