Caritas; Wednesday [09/30].
Summer might have been a little bit excited to get back behind the bar again this week, for that nice rush of normalcy and something she enjoyed and having perhaps a overinflated sense of hope that everything about the weekend was now enough in the past that everyone was just moving on with their lives and things could get back to normal again.
A normal that included Tino apparently continuing a disturbing trend of animal-related gremlin bites and thinking he was the cheese panda from the store. But you know what? She'd take it.
Wednesday Jello Shot Specials!
Cinnamon Bun
Sushi
**IF TINO OFFERS YOU CHEESE, PLEASE JUST TAKE IT**
They were, however, learning that frequent trips to the pond in the park did not seem to make gremlin venom wear off any faster.
Caritas is open!

He was a little disturbed by Tino giving him a block of Jarlsberg though.
"What's his fucking problem?" he asked as he approached the bar.

Sans smartphone, she'd had to wait until today to ask that. Woe.

So when he finally did come in, her feelings about it were...complicated. And definitely not limited to wondering if it was bad that she felt incredibly relieved that he looked the way he did when he finally showed up.
So her smile was a little wan when she explained, watching for a moment as the small pyramid of Swiss continued to build on the stage from it being offered to the zombies who were just trying to play some music, man, come on. "I'm ninety-five percent sure it's a gremlin bite, and he thinks he'd the cheese panda from the store. It's been like this all night, though, I didn't think those things could even last this long..."
Then her attention shifted back to Barry with a soft "Hey" that ended up sounding way more uncertain than she wanted it to be.

Or all week at this rate.

"What about you?" she asked, glancing him over a little more now, unable to keep the worried furrow out of her brow. "You look like you've been...busy."

With a little side eye at the specials. "Sushi?"

It had been involved and took a lot of little mincing detail work to put them together, therefor making them was exactly the kind of distracting she needed, which was also why there were...a lot of them.

Mind you, that one had been there since Barry's faxes had arrived.

She gave Jesse a little grin, along with a generic beer, ready to go.
"At least we know the gremlin bite'll wear off eventually, though. How's it going, Jesse?"

"Weird how?"
There were a lot of ways that one could go.

Yes, Seivarden was aware that there was no reason to tell Summer that.

It just warmed her heart when Seivarden just went all in and didn't make her work for it.
Although she did enjoy doing that, too.
And so, in very short order, Seivarden had herself two jello shots and a slightly overpoured whiskey.
"On me tonight," she added. "I honestly don't think I can thank you enough for Saturday, Seivarden, you have no idea."
The
oh so handwaveyaftermath of their plot had been brutal, sure, but it was the exact kind of brutal it needed to be, and it would have never happened without her.no subject

She reached for one of the shots.
"I'm just curious what you ever saw in him for long enough to get married."
She added: "No judgement."
There was some judgement.
