You know what wasn't good in a bar filled with a lot of breakable things? Sudden creepy noises that made Summer jump, therefor making the occasional glass slip out of her hand onto the floor.

What really got her about this was that she was actually ninety-nine point nine percent sure that it had nothing to do with the creepy noises she'd heard on occasion throughout the day earlier and it was Tino making the noises just to mess with her.

Which made no sense, because then Tino had to clean up the broken glass, but, then again, when had Tino ever made any sort of sense ever? She supposed maybe he was doing it just to keep himself busy and force her to deal with all the customers, but when had that ever even been an issue?

Also, she was sort of wondering what sort of deal Kitty might have with her glassware supplier, because with the way things were around here, she really hoped it was a damn good deal, because they went through a lot of glassware around here, didn't they?

Annie - who was in a great mood today, thanks for asking, even if she had nearly blasted the corner of her apartment because she thought she heard a spooky noise - sidled up to the bar and considered the specials.

"Is chicken standard for jello shots?" she had to ask, frowning. Because no offense, Summer, but gross. "Or did you just go easy on me last week?"

"No," Summer had to grin eagerly with the realization that not only did she get a chance to expose Annie to jello shot for the first time last week, but now she got to expose her a very Summer-specific subset of jello shots week, so, clearly, no offense taken, "it's definitely not, but also, yes, I totally did. I wasn't going to expose you to meat-related jello shots your first time, I'm not that evil."

"I think I'm going to plead 'still too new to jello shots' this week," Annie decided, trying not to make a face and not wholly succeeding at that. "Though, seriously - like, I am impressed you made them? And that this is apparently a regular thing?"

Because Annie would probably throw up in the process, honestly, it sounded that gross.

Rey lived alone. Rey knew there was nothing there, which was actually making the noises more annoying than anything, so, bad!

"Tino thinks he's hilarious," said Summer, with a roll of her eyes, and a glance over her shoulder toward him and his sooooooo completely believeable expression of total and utter innocence in this matter, "and I'm thinking of moving to plastic cups for the rest of the night. I mean, the red Solo cup is an essential part of my own named drink, it's not out of the realm of possibility and very much for everyone's safety to just claim I'm going with a theme at that point..."

Excuse Summer a moment while she tried to rein in her complete and utter shock at this revelation enough to muster up a witheringly devistated pout.

"Awwwww! And here I'd made them just for you, too!"

But the pretense couldn't hold up to the grin that took its place as she set down a champagne shot and a seltzer with a twist of lemon in front of him, a grin that had completely taken over by the time she added her own, "Hi."

"Suuuure you did," Barry said examining the the jello shot just to make sure there wasn't any chicken snuck in there. "Because I'm just a sucker for meat and jello. I'm amazed there isn't some more fucking Halloween inspired shots here. Like pumpkin jello with a candle in it or something."

Stop giving her ideas, Barry.

"Well she is my girlfriend but I pay for my drinks. And no one should really hear me sing," Barry said shaking his head. "Last time I truly sang anything was 'Baby Got Back' at my ex-girlfriend's birthday party. And that was just to embarrass her."

After singing an epic song about America and Sizzler franchises, Eleanor sat down smugly and slapped her hands on the table.

"I swear," said Summer, with a faint tone of awe, "I think half of the reason I even do this is to hear what you're going to attempt to pass off as a song this time around."

"What? That's totally a song!" Eleanor protested with amusement. "It forking sucks but it's totally a song!"

With one motion the shot was in her mouth and gone.

"That's actually not bad," Eleanor said nodding in approval. "One more if you please!"

The sourceless noises had Stark a bit on edge but they seemed to not be an issue when there were other people around so he was spending his day in occupied locations.

He eyed the drink specials and decided that meat in drinks was just as much of an affront as meat in cupcakes.

"The cranberry champagne, I think?"

"That's a good one," Summer assured Stark with a small smile, as she went to grab one of the shots and set it in front of him with a nod, pretty sure the I think was one of those 'lesser of two evils' kind. "Anything else to wash it down with? And how the heck have you been, Stark? It's good to see you."

She was always thrilled when there was a face other than the usual parade of regulars came in, especially since it held the potential of them joining that parade maybe!

"Thank you. Today? I'm tired." But also perhaps overcaffeinated. But with normal hair again. "Overall...well enough. And you?"

He was happy to add his face, and the mask, to the parade.

"Smart choice," Annie advised, overhearing that and smiling over at the...guy with the plate on his face. That was a look and a half, right there, but she wasn't going to stare or anything. Fandom had dulled her sense of what was weird. "Call me old-fashioned, but meat doesn't belong anywhere near drinks."

It is probably the furthest you can get away from things in the bar that contain the words 'chicken cranberry party salad' in one breath, after all.
