Groovy Tunes; Tuesday [11/03].
Even though the temptation to hide forever after the events of Saturday were incredibly strong, Tisarwat knew that it wouldn't do much good, and perhaps the best way to continue on from here was to just staunchly try to ignore that anything terrible had happened and go from there. Which was hard when you felt incredibly guilty about everything, especially since the vampire costumes had been her idea. So she was torn between feeling like she needed to go out of her way to make it up to Amaya and Lucille (the former of which was taking it all surprisingly well, though, all things considered) somehow and just never mentioning it ever again if it could be helped.
She was definitely leaning heavily toward that latter option, and was glad there was a lot of work to be done in the shop that day to distract her from having to think about it with too much focus and energy.
Groovy Tunes is open!

"Lucille." Apprehension. Disappointment. Unpreparedness. But a deep sense of relief and gratitude underneath it all, as well. Complicated. "What a pleasant surprise. How are you today?"
A simple exchange of pleasantries, for the most part, though her asking the question went much deeper than the conversational tone would imply.

She glanced around the room, then smiled at Tisarwat, a little nervously.
"I hope I am not interrupting."

"Nothing too important," she assured her. "Just the usual daily business stuff. I could probably use a break. Tea?"
She was already moving over to the teaset.

Lucille moved from the door towards where Tisarwat was standing.
"I hoped you had time for a break. I brought some biscuits."
That she luckily hadn't made herself.

As if the job had been so demanding and restrictive of her time before. And she poured the tea, passing over a cup to Lucille.
"And that's thoughtful of you. I haven't had much to eat today."
She hadn't really been hungry. And she still really wasn't, but she should be able to pull off at least a a few nibbles on a biscuit with tea...

"I also brought a book."
That was always a good topic.

Still, it had potential.
"You have?" Tisarwat asked, tilting her head while taking up her own cup. "That's good. I've been wanting something new to read."
Maybe something without vampires, though!

"It's a poetry collection," Lucille said, pulling both the biscuits and the book out of her small bag, and offering them to Tisarwat.

"From your time period?" she asked, eyes lifting to Lucille for the answers rather than the book itself. "Is it a single poet's work, or a variety of different ones?"
no subject
She sipped her tea.
"I thought you might want something to read."
She paused.
"Did I mention that I may play the piano at the nightclub?"

She paused.
"Would you come to listen?"

But, speaking of scandalous, Tisarwat would have to see about finally getting Lucille more appropriate gloves before then, that was just as certain as her spoken words.

"It would make a difference if you were there."
