Rey's warehouse- Friday afternoon

Rey had shown up earlier than normal, and had started running through some drills before deciding that she wanted something harder today.

Naturally that meant setting up Barry's remotes to chase her while she ran the course with the rain on. She kept it on easy mode because she was nowhere close to mastering the course and this was definitely going to end in bruises, but she actually wasn't doing terribly and that was what she was going to go with here. She felt good about it.

There was also an inflatable reindeer waiting right where Anakin would see it when he got here.

"And this was after he'd removed his cloak," Anakin said. "Also dramatically."

Pot has zero place to call kettle dramatic, Anakin.

"Is that where you picked it up?"

She'd seen you do it, Anakin.

"In my defense, I thought that was the only way Jedi took cloaks off," Anakin said, grinning.

"I probably won't be doing that," Rey warned. "Just so you know."

Anakin laughed. "I'd love to watch you try it just once," he admitted.

[thatwaslucky]

"I don't think I'm dramatic enough to pull it off," she admitted. "It'd be disappointing."

"I wasn't that dramatic to start," Anakin claimed erroneously.

Rey didn't say anything with her voice. Her face said many things to that, though.

"Should I be aiming for dramatic in the future, then?"

[sith_happened]

"It couldn't hurt," Anakin said, grinning.

[thatwaslucky]

"I'll work on that," she smiled/lied.

[sith_happened]

"I can lend you a cloak if you need one," Anakin said.

"You gave me one a while back," Rey reminded him. It'd been at the start of training, and she still kind of felt like she hadn't earned it, but she'd probably be wearing it as a cold wimp.

"Wear it around the apartment," Anakin said. "If nothing else, it'll make John laugh."

"He might want to try it. I get the feeling he could easily out-drama me."

Understatement.

"In that case, I want a picture."

[thatwaslucky]

"If it happens, I will send one," Rey laughed. "Have you met him at all?"

It helped with the visual.

"No," Anakin admitted. "I didn't want to accidentally give him disapproving uncle looks."

Rey paused.

"Why would you give him disapproving uncle looks?"

[sith_happened]

"It's kind of the way my face is stuck," Anakin said.

[thatwaslucky]

"You smile sometimes." She'd seen it!

[sith_happened]

Anakin smiled accordingly. "I do. Sometimes."

[thatwaslucky]

"See, I'm sure you wouldn't need disappointed uncle face."

"I'll stop by his next bar shift," Anakin said. "Sundays, right?"

"That's him," she said, suddenly not nervous or anything what.

[sith_happened]

"I'm only half as intimidating as Leia," he teased.
