Groovy Tunes; Tuesday [01/05].

Even though previous attempts hadn't garnered much response, and there really wasn't a very large influx of new people on the island with the new semester, Tisarwat figured it wouldn't hurt to put a particular sign up in the window at Groovy Tunes. There wasn't a whole lot to manage at the store, especially since it was mostly quiet, most of the time, but there would be nothing wrong with a little extra help around here, especially since she wasn't extacly going to be in the building pretty much all the time now that she'd moved out of the basement apartment.

Now Hiring!

With that done, Tisarwat went about the usual tasks of counting inventory and processing new shipments, with maybe a little break here and there for either tea or piano practice.

Groovy Tunes is open!

When Troy went out into town after his class, he hadn't gone out with something like employment on his mind. In fact, he'd gone specifically with something like pizza on his mind. But there was a thing about pizza (that wasn't randomly showing up in common rooms, anyway): it sort of cost money. Something that Troy had taken for granted during his first semester away from home, and something that his parents weren't going to be so willing to just fork on over.

So when he was on his way back from an unsuccessful attempt to charm his way into free pizza and was just hoping that his efforts would still be rewarded when he got back to the dorms, he actually did see the signs in the window, stopped, back up, read it again, and then considered a few things.

"So, does this place actually sell music?" he wondered, as he walked in and was surrounded by literally a ton of things involved in selling music. "Or is it like some ofthe other places in this town where it sounds like it's one thing, but it's actually selling something else entirely?"

Looking at you, Pick your Poison. Pixie Dust. Turtle & Canary!

"Do people even still buy music anymore?" Troy wondered, but then he remembered that he actually did come in here for something. Ironically, not to buy music. "But, uhhh, yeah. I saw the sign? And it, like, opened up my eyes..."

Why did that sound familiar? His brows furrowed slightly over his opened eyes for a moment, finger moving to beat but he couldn't quite place it--anyway--

"I saw the sign, so I guess you could help me find...a job? For, like, money and stuff?"
