For some reason, no matter what Kitty did today, every drink came out as a strawberry daiquiri. Pour a shot? Strawberry daiquiri. Open a bottle of beer? Strawberry daiquiri.

"....like....nothing else?" asked Rosa, sliding onto her usual seat, with a dubious look toward the specials board.

Daiquiris were fine, but she wasn't so sure they were going to cut it tonight...

"Everything is daiquiris," Kitty said. "If I pour water, it's daiquiris."

"Guess I'm getting a strawberry daiquiri, then," Rosa said. "Could be worse..."

They could be singing about it.

"It really could," Kitty said wryly, getting a cute glass and filling it with tap water because hey, it was all strawberry daiquiri. "So how've you been?"

Rosa shrugged. "Okay, I guess. Not a whole lot going on."

Especially since she was absolutely not talking about last weekend.

"Got an intern," she offered, as she sipped the daiquiri and wondered of she should make a case that she should be charged for a water since that was technically what Kitty poured, but even if she didn't like Kitty, it wouldn't be worth it.

Honestly Kitty'd probably charge her for a water anyway, but what was she gonna do, waste booze she could charge for later?

"Oh, really? How's that going?"

"She's from the Victorian era," Rosa informed Kitty with a lift of her eyebrows that should add to an ideo of how that was going. "I can't tell what she finds more shocking: that Jones and I are women or our language."

"I put her on the bee case, though, so that should keep her busy for a while."

"Do you actually expect a resolution in the bee case?"
