Caritas; Wednesday [02/03].
Tino was giving Summer crap for coming in late for her shift that evening, but Summer wasn't having any of it.
"Sorry, Tino," she sniped. "Not all of us can just practically live here. Some of us actually have lives."
And her life in the last 48 hours or so had been something, alright, and it was honestly kind of a miracle that she'd even made it back in time for her shift at all, and, boy, if today wasn't one of those days where she was feeling extremely grateful for that jello maker, she didn't know what would be. They weren't exactly to the elaborate quality she usually liked to put into her shots, but for having been able to whip them together in the tight half hour between when she landed back in Fandom and coming into the bar, they weren't half bad.
And they were definitely boozy. That was the important part, right?
Wednesday Jello Shot Specials!
Orange Creamsicle
Arnold Palmer
Gravy
Also, not everything was daiquiris! In fact, the one time someone did actually order a daiquiri, it came out as a martini, no matter how many times Summer tried to make it. So sorry. No daiquiris, apparently?

The Stage - 02/03.
Re: The Stage - 02/03.
"Hey, everyone!" she greeted when she got up to the mike. "Your favorite friendly jello-slinging Wednesday bartender here! I just needed a moment to send a song out to all the fuckheads out there who think it's okay to get all up in my friend's business where he doesn't belong~! Hit it, guys!"
And with that, Summer got ready to sing (it was a good thing they were all adults here, right):
"Look inside, look inside your tiny mind, now look a bit harder
'Cause we're so uninspired
So sick and tired of all the hatred you harbor
So you say it's not okay to be gay,
well, I think you're just evil
You're just some racist who can't tie my laces
Your point of view is medieval
Fuck you (Fuck you!),
fuck you very, very mu~~u~~uu~uuuch
'Cause we hate what you do
And we hate your whole crew
So, please don't stay in touch
Fuck you (Fuck you!), F
uck you very, very mu~uu~uuucch
'Cause your words don't translate
And it's getting quite late
So, please don't stay in touch
Do you get, do you get a little kick out of being small-minded?
You want to be like your father, it's approval you're after
Well, that's not how you find it
Do you, do you really enjoy living a life that's so hateful?
'Cause there's a hole where your soul should be
You're losing control a bit!
And it's really distasteful
Fuck you (Fuck you!),
fuck you very, very mu~uu~uuch
'Cause we hate what you do
And we hate your whole crew
So, please don't stay in touch
Fuck you (Fuck you!),
fuck you very, very mu~~uuu~uch
'Cause your words don't translate
And it's getting quite late
So, please don't stay in to~uch
Fuck you, fuck you, fuck you
Fuck you, fuck you, fuck you
Fuck you~oooh, ooooh.
You say, you think we need to go to war,
well, you're already in one
'Cause it's people like you that need to get slew
No one wants your opinion
Fuck you (Fuck you!),
fuck you very, very mu~uuu~uuch
'Cause we hate what you do
And we hate your whole crew
So, please don't stay in touch
Fuck you (Fuck you!),
fuck you very, very mu~~uuu~uch
'Cause your words don't translate
And it's getting quite late
So, please don't stay in touch
Fuck you, fuck you
Fuck you, fuck you
Fuck you, fuck you~~
"And, yeah, you get the idea. Thank you everyone! Don't forget to tip your barteeeeender!"
The Bar - 02/03.
Re: The Bar - 02/03.
"Summer, what's an Arnold Palmer? Is it an actual drink?"
Re: The Bar - 02/03.
A pause.
"And vodka."
Lots and lots of vodka.
Re: The Bar - 02/03.
You had to have expected that question, Summer.
Now Seivarden placed the plastic container on the bar, though, and pushed it towards Summer.
"This is for you."

"Why is someone named Arnold Palmer on the specials board?" she asked, warily.
Re: The Bar - 02/03.
She could really sell a shot when she put her mind to it, couldn't she?

She sighed, shaking her head, and then offering a smile.
"How's it going, Jes?"

Damn it. She looked.
And was incredibly grateful that that turned out to be more request, apparently, than description?
"They're on the house," Summer stated as she set the two gravy shots in front if Eleanor, "as long as you promise to never utter those words out loud ever again."
Why would you want that, Eleanor?
"Wait," she said. "That's not a drink, is it?"
Why would you want that?

Even if tonight had been a very near thing.
"And, yeah, beer is, too. But, interestingly enough? Not daiquiris.
"So what can I get for you, Travis? Something in particular, or are you more of a generic, whatever's on hand type?"
