Annie was tan, content and...relatively relaxed, all things considered, after her trip to Hawaii. (There had only been one murder drone, and yet so much more luau/surfing/laying on the beach, you know?)

"Did you have a nice break?" she greeted Tiny, immediately grabbing some ice, Curacao and the blender in a way that had Tiny heading for the other end of the bar before she even finished her sentence. Before she could even think about taking out her phone and showing him a damn picture.

Oh well. She was going to make Blue Hawaiians her drink special, and pretend it wasn't rainy and gross outside, sigh.

"Diego narrowly avoided getting shot alongside Steve," Annie sighed, rolling her eyes with something that threaded the needle between fondness and exasperation. "The Camaro is going to need, like, a lot of bodywork. It was pretty sad. But the Silverado I was driving was fine, at least!"

"Well if you're going to destroy a car you might as well do it running into an airplane," Jessica replied. "And here I thought Hawaii was all drinks in coconuts and tourists in ugly shirts. I had no idea it was fast cars and bullet wounds."

"At least Steve and Danny's is," Annie acknowledged, pulling her phone out to show Jessica the picture of herself in a somewhat-touristy Hawaiian print dress and Diego in his (orange!!!) Hawaiian print shirt. "But we did our part to make up for it. And also Danny kept feeding us Hawaiian pastry when we weren't being shot at or whatever."

"That is a spectacular color for Diego," Jessica replied with some amusement. Because of course they went with Hawaiian prints. "Did it kill him to wear it or did he embrace the vacation version of himself?"

"Oh, it killed him a little, even though you're right and he looks great in it," Annie said completely sincerely, sighing. "He would've worn all-black to the luau if I'd let him."

Which honestly would have probably guaranteed some kind of weird mandatory hula participation, in hindsight.

"Lots of heat and humidity on that island. I might have to consider wearing something other than black. If I went there. Which I'm not planning on," Jessica said looking amused.
