Annie was tan, content and...relatively relaxed, all things considered, after her trip to Hawaii. (There had only been one murder drone, and yet so much more luau/surfing/laying on the beach, you know?)

"Did you have a nice break?" she greeted Tiny, immediately grabbing some ice, Curacao and the blender in a way that had Tiny heading for the other end of the bar before she even finished her sentence. Before she could even think about taking out her phone and showing him a damn picture.

Oh well. She was going to make Blue Hawaiians her drink special, and pretend it wasn't rainy and gross outside, sigh.

And in two-point-five seconds, all the respect and hope that had been built up in that silence just now completely crumbled, because she'd pretty much handed him a golden opportunity to just keep the mimic thing going, and he just threw it away.

So much potential. So disappoint.

But the answer made her grin a little, despite that.

"Yeah," she agreed, "you've been told mostly right. I'm sure there are some exceptions, but they're few and far between."
