Caritas- Tuesday

After a great mostly hand waved oops trip to Japan that did not involve kidnapping or ninjas, Kitty was ready to get back to her normal routine today.

Well, okay, no she wasn't, her sense of time was off and now she was working at night. But the important thing was that she went to work!

Of course she walked in and Tino had put up fake "cobwebs" left over from Halloween all over the bar because he thought he was funny.

"Kitty," Rosa greeted, as she dropped into her usual seat.

"Rosa," Kitty returned. "Glad to be back?"

"My boyfriend has been actively making my life a living hell as a bid for revenge and I find him significantly more attractive now because of it."

So...yes?

"Also, the only lobsters I have to deal with now are either dead or stuffed."

Okay. Definitely yes.

"I missed Lexi like crazy, but I'm not here for adjusting back to a real schedule," Kitty admitted. "Can we go back to the boyfriend revenge thing?"

"In my defense," Rosa put out there immediately, "when I signed up to room with Blackstone instead of him since he no longer needed the free pass, I thought that meant sticking him with just one terrible random person, not six."

"Ohhhh he's a scam class teacher?" Kitty asked, grinning.

What, it was funny.

"Which doesn't even make sense for him," Rosa pointed out. "Because he was already getting the free trip through me."

Which meant he probably did it because he thought it was funny, so he really, really deserved it, right?

"Honestly that just makes it better," Kitty admitted.

"Yeah," Rosa made a face. "I know."

And that made it worse.

"Anyway," she continued, "he's decided to get back at me with lobsters. Yesterday it involved soup."

Did you remember how Rosa felt about soup, Kitty? Even worse than hats!

But not as bad as birthdays.

"And this is a good thing?" Was it? Unclear.

"He knows how I feel about soup," said Rosa.

Which definitely helped answer that question, right, Kitty?

Which may have been evident by Kitty not answering but looking like she was trying to.
