Groovy Tunes; Tuesday [03/16].
When Seivarden had Oh so handwavily mentioned going back to the Radch for a little bit, Tisarwat had actually been in such a state of calm apathy that it didn't really register, she didn't really care, she was content and fine on that particular day, and that was sort of the last of it for her, but now? Now she couldn't stop thinking about it.
And she wondered if this was more of the weird mood swings she'd been experiencing or not, but she hoped to distract herself with listening to some music and practicing on the pianos a bit so she didn't just spend all her time worrying about what sort of news she'd be coming back with.
If she bothered coming back at all.
Was it pessimistic of her to think that this trip wouldn't make a difference at all in the long run? Or had she just gotten so used to being here that her mood about it reflected that, and she'd sort of accepted her fate in a way and didn't bother with any feelings of hopefulness because she knew they were futile?
So if any of the songs she was practicing that day seemed to take on some meloncholy bent...that was probably why.
Of course, the mood was probably a little spoiled by the fact that Tisarwat was still not that great at the piano, but she'd been making enough improvements that the songs should be....eventually recognizable to anyone who came in while she was practicing.
Probably not about to make a career as a pianist any time soon, though, even if she was even more indefinitely stuck here than before...
