Caritas- Tuesday
Let it be known that unless there was a problem, Kitty got to work early. So she was surprised to find a raging party already going on.
Tino, missing a shirt but handing out plenty of those shots in test tubes, had decided to advertise Caritas as a spring break destination, and these kids had actually fallen for it. It was also possible they'd started drinking too early enough to care.
Okay. Well. Kitty was going to have to line up rickshaws and do a hell of a lot of cleanup but at least Lexi's college was paid for?

Re: Bar
"This your doing?" she asked Kitty when she got to the bar, taking another look around to soak in the chaos.
She felt she already knew the answer to that question.

Re: Bar
She was going to be thoroughly entertained, anyway.
"Get me a whiskey, Kitty! And probably a couple of towels, because if any of these jackholes try to hit on me, I am definitely ending up in the pond."
It was pretty much bound to happen at least once. Which was fine. She'd always considered a trip to the pond a badge of pride.

Give her like, one sec, she'd dig the name she'd been given out of the recesses of her memory, here. "Rosa, right?"
Re: Bar
And that only helped marginally.
"Uhhh, yeah." Faye's name had long since shuffled out of Rosa's memory, although now she did pick up on 'cheerful' and 'coffee shop's and realized why she looked familiar at least.
She closed her eyes with a sigh into her drink over the fact that anyone could logically consider her 'cheerful lady from the coffee shop.'
"That's me..."

She didn't know about spring break, no, but she already loved it.

She was going to make off with so much money from drunk people who weren't minding their pockets.

It helped that she lived right across the street and was very finely tuned to all the external hints that she was going to be all about whatever was going on inside.
She eventually made it to the bar, after what had been an especially ineffective conversation with Tino where he was trying to tell her she should really check out the backroom and about fifty million distractions between here and then.
And when she did, she shouted something at Kitty, but even if the music and the crowd wasn't sound, she probably wouldn't have been heard. Between shouting over a Screaming Sun in class earlier today, yelling at Tino that she couldn't hear him, and telling everyone between the door in the bar that they should totally come back tomorrow because she was bartending that night, she literally had, like, no voice left.
But she was trying!

Re: Bar
But there was a good chance that whatever it was ended with the word "experience."
"Anyway," she then managed to get out, followed by something else that disappeared, but it came back in time for her to get out "Summer Smith!"

In his defense... the kid had definitely seen worse than this.
"Busy night," Din called over the noise as some drunk college students cooed over the kid.
Re: Bar
He did not look old enough for this crowd.
Re: Bar
Din sort of tilted his head at 'spring break' like that was supposed to mean anything to him. "Kid," he said as he the child was distracted by phone cameras pointed at him. "Grogu. Ignore 'em."
Grogu was gonna end up Tiny King of Spring break.

Because one of those noisy, drunk party-goers moved away from the bar with their drinks to reveal Grogu sitting on the bar stool, virgin cocktail in his little, clawed hands. Sipping and staring.

She was however taking a break from all the body shots by being the one taking bets on the wrestlers.
