There was no arrack tonight. Not as a special, not even as a non-special. Seivarden was sticking to Summer's orders, since that was likely the best thing to do. Instead the sign said:

Tonight's Special:
Gin & Tonic

That should work. Maybe she could even get Amaya to try one if she showed up.

Tino snickered. "So you've figured out that no one wants you fancy space wine."

That didn't deserve an answer.

Amaya did show up with omg yes all the SP, quirking both her brows (not that you could tell, what with the bangs and all) at the specials board, and felt compelled to ask, "Now wait a second. Is this here even the right bar?"

Seivarden grinned. "Surprised?"

"Maybe a bit," Amaya admitted with a smirk as she took her seat. "What's the problem? Did you finally just plum run out? Supply and demand forcing your hand a bit?"

"It's a surprise," Seivarden said. It might not be one Amaya cared about, but still.

"So, what are you having tonight? Beer? The special?"

"Considering the special actually is special," Amaya remarked, "I'd be a fool not to take advantage, wouldn't I?"

And it was slightly more bartending work than just the beer, she figured, and that would be good for Seivarden.

A Gin & Tonic wasn't too complicated, at least, and Seivarden soon placed one in front of Amaya.

"So, how has your weekend been?"

"Not too bad!" Amaya was going to be drinking so many of those gin and tonics, they were practically just bubbly water, right? "Nearing a finish on the projects I've got going for Iris, and I've already got an idea in my head for the next one to work on, it'll be an interesting one, that's for sure, if it pans out the way I'm expecting it to! How about yours?"

"Quiet," Seivarden said. "I watched a new entertainment, made pizza."

She shrugged.

"What's your new project?"

Amaya bit her lip a little against the immediate excited grin that just Seivarden asking inspired, and she took a moment to decide if she should tell her anything about it or wait until it was in progress to appreciate it in person.

"Three words," she decided to foreclose. "Razor. Blade. Sword."

Which didn't even come close to really painting the picture, really.

"Razor blade sword?"

Seivarden looked confused.

"How is it different from your other swords?"

Amaya gave Seivarden such a withering, disappointed sort of look.

"Razor blades and sword blades are extremely different!" she insisted. "And not even just on account of size!"

She sighed, waving a hand as if to dismiss any attempt to explain. "You'll just have to wait for when it starts all coming together," she said. "Then you'll see what I mean."

And probably promptly just wonder why.

Seivarden grinned and said: "You'll have to show me."

She continued: "Oh, and I've managed to get both Prompto and Ignis to like Radchaai entertainments. You should join us for a movie night sometime."

And not only because she wanted to see Prompto and Amaya negotiate how to deal with the romantic parts.

But at least they could agree on the explody parts!

"You know I'm always game for a movie night," Amaya reminded her. "Just let me know, especially if those roommates of yours are involved. As far as I can tell, they're on and off around here so much I'm surprised they still know which way is up!"

"I'll let you know," Seivarden said, smiling. "And they are, not that it's a problem for me. I think the cat misses Prompto when he's not around, though."
