Caritas; Wednesday [08/04].
You would think, with how many of them were on the stage at Caritas that night, that there would be alot of karaoke going on. But no. Apparently, the alots that had come into the bar were not there to actually sing, but to sign.
Sign what, you ask? Anything, really. Books, posters, movies, your chest, if you were so inclined. They didn't seem too picky, really. If you had a thing, and they had a marker, then, duck it, they were going to sign it! It was a regular old signing frenzy going on!
Summer trusted that, by now, everyone knew that if Tino asked you to guess what he got the alots to sign, they were better off just ignoring him.
Or else they were going to need alot of buckets.

Seivarden glared at the alot. Then looked at the specials' menu. Then at Summer.
"Aatr's fits!"
no subject
"Hey, Seivarden," she offered. "What can I get you?"
Might as well get right to the important/necessary part.

"Hello shits it is," she declared, with a confidence that made it really hard to tell if that was intentional or not, and then proudly set up the trio available that day in front of Seivarden. "So. This is a funn oen, huh?"
no subject
He gave Summer a somewhat awkward wave, eyeing the alots warily as he approached the bar.
"Oen Aaple Pry shut" he said, slowly, wincing at each word that came out of his mouth.
Ok, so it wasn't just something going on with his apartment....
This was starting to feel waaaaay too much like the Babble Trouble back home. Dwight gave a frustrated sigh as he looked at Summer.

"Lets drikn in sliece."
That wasn't going to work.

"I'd suggest we jost rote stuff down," she noted, "but I honeslty I think that'd just be worth."
no subject
Also, since she didn't really expect Jesse to answer that, at least not with anything that would be helpful giving the circumstances, she said, "Perdy sure its just the day at leaf? If it keeps up tomrow, just go remote, work off-islane, I doubt there'd be alot of trouble on the mainlan."
And if there was? Oof, then they did have an issue on their hans.

An alot shaped like an apostrophe sat down next to her. It made a bunch of clicking noises.
She ignored it.
"Mebbe the baord will jus let this oen slide," she said, picking up her genric beer like a champ.

He pulled out the pad of paper he had been jotting notes on that morning before leaving.
Tu-Dew Lust
1 Buy soplies
4 Frix Shevleves
7 Call Mirgulle
He looked at Summer with a "yeah no better" look.

There was a pause.
"Aaaaaaaaand now i thnk im on perma-italics."
How could you even hear that? Summer wasn't sure, but she just knew this was because someone all too frequently messed up her /i tags.
no subject
Partly because that was kind of adorable, and also because it was a response that she figured couldn't get too mangled up in the procress of getting out.
"At leaf," she then offered, "it's prolly just a Wenzdae fing."
no subject
If he knew sign language he might have been tempted to try that... but odds were his fingers would decide to trip him up somehow. This Alot business was pretty tenacious it seemed.
no subject
"Y does this taste lyk bear?"
no subject
She shook her head, though, wondering if thay was almost too vague to even be deciphered.
BUT OH WELL.

A crease that was only about to get deeper as Jesse seemed to have actually summoned actual alots of emphasis with her first comment, bursting happily through the door and stampeding toward Summer.
"On!" she shouted immediately, waving her arms for..well, for emphasis....and trying to block the way. Stopped. Tried again, this time with more focus.
"No!" she managed, glaring daggers at them. "no wai. OTHER SIDE OF TEH BRA."
Which was why Summer was now trying to fend off an alot trying go get up on her and under her shirt.
"BAR!" she shouted at it, fending it off. "I meant BAR! Jeebus ducking chris!"
no subject
He rolled his eyes. "Did you mean that one, or is it part of the weird today?"
no subject
She gave that the proper moment to breathe or be interpreted before she asked, of course:
"Wanna tri 1?"

And she was gone.
Splash.
"...ducking fuck pond. Of course."
no subject
Drinking didn't hurt much, either.
Er, well...
"moar shoots?" Summer, who would absolutely keep plying him with a lot of them (not to be confused with the gelatinous alot of jello shots that served as a surprisingly good stand for her tray...) if he allowed it, asked. "Or swish to soemthing a lil moar....substantial."
Honestly, Summer was a little surprised that last word make it out so well.
"Sunds liek Tribbles," close enough!, "are a gut worde for them, honestely."
no subject
She stopped abruptly, with a grimace and a tight jaw.
Rethought what was going to come out of her mouth before she let it out.
"There is plenty moar," there, that was better, although the alot of italics had returned as a result, "oter optionz avalibible."

"was rhat ur fist tirp to teh fuck pond?" Summer asked.
Which sounded like an entirely different question/experience, but Jesse would know what she meant!
"Wired that it sent u an knot, u no, teh oen avtilly a salting me."
Summer, you had to stop using italics, because they were just going to keep sticking!
But now, at least there were alot of well-earned glares in the bar, too.
no subject
Her poor, long hair.
no subject
She might even have one or two for herself, especially now that the alot of italics (they adored Summer, clearly) were back behind the bar and under her feet.
"Stil," a shoulder hitched up in a shrug. "Cud be wurst. Cud be teel dear."
Then they'd never hear the end of it!
no subject
Also, that question was so simple, the typos didn't even stand a chance! Ha!
no subject
"Wet," she said.
no subject
A beat.
"Jush imagyn ThAT papierwerk!
"Thanx, tho," she added a little more sincerely. "it wuz nice of u to try n helpp, evn if u wound ip in the fuck pond fee it."
no subject
no subject
Nope. Couldn't help herself.
Of course, now the bar was playing host to alot of groans, enough that Summer had at least the decency to look a little sheepish about it.
"Sry," she said. "It wuz jus litrally rite their."

"Okay, that was theweird."
