Caritas; Wednesday [08/25].
Summer was still alive, but she wasn't about to let her guard down entirely quite yet, she figured there was still about a week left before the threat of a rage-prone former cop had fully passed, and she really hoped that it did because she kind of had a lot of things going on and it would kind of suck to not get to do them just because a moose thought he was funny or whatever it was that made him do things like give her, of all people, the Rosa Diaz class.
Like, she was staring down at an anniversary over here, people. Like, actual anniversary. Year, not even that month, quarter-year, half-year bullshit. Which was just....what??
Not a complaint! But definitely a nice distraction from thinking about ways in which she might try to compromise with Rosa that didn't involve brutal murder or, worse, teaching math.
Somehow, Sumemr didnt' think Rosa would be swayed by jello shots. But, at the very least, she knew her usual customers would be!
Wednesday Jello Shot Specials!
Back to being free if you sing a karaoke song
because there's no more Wednesday activities!
Double Stuffed Oreo
Sugar Cookie
Thin Mint
Animal Crackers
Oh, was that a theme?? She hadn't noticed!
Caritas is open!

She didn't think they were, even Summer must have limits.
"And I'm getting another roommate."
no subject
"And another one? How big even is your apartment?"
She was pretty sure it was just the two bedrooms, which, hey, no judgement or anything, but...
no subject
Of course Seivarden had to ask.
"Apparently sharing a bedroom isn't a problem for them."
no subject
Then she took a moment to consider Seivarden's current roommates.
"Ohmygod," she said, "do they have bunk beds in there?"
Tell her Prompto Argentum didn't just scream bunk beds.
no subject
"I actually didn't ask. It's not of my business how they choose to furnish the room as long as they don't ruin it, and I can't see Ignis letting that happen. Have you met Gladio?"
Seivarden had, once. She mostly remembered the biceps.

"Hello, Summer."
no subject
"Hello, Stark. I thought maybe you'd appreciate cookies, after you mentioned them in your last class."
no subject
"I probably ought to try them all." Especially if he'd inspired them!
no subject
"So," she ventured, "how'd you been? Are you in more of a 'dwelling over the last weekend' or a 'looking forward to next weekend' spot?"
Things had happened! Then there was the new semester starting! And it was smack dab between the two of them, so it could really go either way!

"Either Kitty's been holding out on me, or I ought to have visited on a Wednesday before now," she noted thoughtfully, shooting a bright smile over at Summer. "I haven't done jelly shots in years."
no subject
Was Summer already going to go ahead and set out all four for her now? Oh, duh, obviously, have you met Summer?
Oh, actually, you hadn't! But this was clearly being remedied now!
"Welcome to Wednesdays at Caritas," she announced proudly, with a sweep of her hand over the line-up of the jello du jour. "You have definitely been missing out."
no subject
As though Irene wasn't going to flirt with a pretty redhead with an obvious creative streak.
no subject
"It's Summer, by the way," she then offered, half-tempted to just whip out one of her business cards, but her grin softened to pull herself back on that hustle and grind a little, and her attention shifted to less jello, more mysterious new potential regular. "When did you roll into town?"

She totally was, for, like, a year after several years of begging her mom to let her try it, and then promptly deciding she was going to focus on horses and maybe ballet instead, and then that eventually turned into cheerleading and make-up, and then....
"I just felt inspired," she offered. "Stark mentioned jello cookies in his class last week, and so..." She gestured toward the trays. "Voila."
Followed by the inevitable, "Any catch your eye?"

One could argue that the jello itself was a bad idea from the start!

Why is this bothering me?

"Well, this sounds promising," she informed him, after looking over the spread and then looking at him for an overdue inspection. "Campaign trail got you down? Or is it over, and that's why you're finally back here?"
The inspection may have gotten a little closer as she said the last part, because, honestly? She had no idea what results would have what kind of effect on him, so she was bolstering herself for pretty much anything.
