Seivarden decided to go with an old classic:
Although in order to offer recommendations she had decided to try some of them out, and discovered that she still didn't like beer, which was going to make that hard. No, actually, she could make things up, or try to pick the right beer for the right person.
"You should make a personality test, then," Tino snorted.
"That would offer a very limited range of personalities," Seivarden said. "Considering they all have to like beer."

Tonight's Special
Any kind of beer
Any kind of beer

Now her gorgeous ass was there, eyeing the specials board. "You got something that's not beer, right?"
no subject
"We've got plenty of things that's not beer," she said. "I'm glad someone has good taste. What would you like?"
A new person, she guessed. She would have noticed the eyepatch and the style of dress.

"Martini," she repeated with a nod and reached for a glass.
"So, did you arrive recently on the island?"
no subject
“If by ‘arrived’ you mean ‘fell on my ass straight into someone’s serial killer nightmare of an apartment’, sure,” Margo said. “Not my choice of words, I gotta tell you.”
no subject
"Leave as fast as you can, then. If you can. I was stuck here for several years."
no subject
Come on, give her a lead.

She added: "I'm Seivarden Vendaai by the way. Welcome to Fandom."
no subject
She set the glass back down.
“How’d you get home?”
no subject
Seivarden realised she didn't know if they still had it.
"After a few attempts they managed to open a portal to my universe. Now I'm able to go back on my own though, so that's an advantage."
no subject
She nodded. “That must have been a real relief for you,” she said. “Is your friend still here?”
no subject
"So where are you from?" she continued, very obviously avoiding the question.

Margo needed a little more martini in her to fortify before she went on bravely. Had to say, though, El made it better. “I’m from Earth, originally,” she said, “Los Angeles. Spent the past couple of months stuck in a magical kingdom dealing with talking animals and bumpkins.”
She looked the bartender up and down. “How about you?” she asked. “Are you from around here?”
She didn’t give a shit.
no subject
She noticed that look, so she added: "More civilisation, less talking animals and bumpkins."
no subject
Okay, she did mean that.
no subject
Seivarden didn't think Margo cared.

With that, Amaya took a seat at the bar. "I'll take whatever comes in the biggest bottle."
It did say any kind, right?
no subject
"I have no idea what it tastes like," she said.
no subject
And Amaya would pretty much drink anything you put in front of her, let's be honest here.
"So," she said, deciding not to comment on the fact that apparenly the pouring was up to her as she did just that, although, honestly, if there hadn't been a glass, she'd have just swigged right from the bottle, "how was your weekend?"

Seivarden was quite sure that wasn't what Amaya was talking about.

"Don't be ridiculous," she said, and then, lifting her chin proudly, "I just put a fence around it!"
Obviously!
no subject
No comment, Amaya.
"How is the beer?"
