Farewell Function, Along Apocalypse Ave By The Causeway, Sunday Afternoon
It was almost time for Fandom's guests to leave. To honour them one last time, the Mayor's office had arranged for a wonderful spread of food, set up along Apocalypse Ave on the way to the causeway. Opposite these tables were a few more with a, ah, tasteful number of Fandom tourist merchandise, for the shot glass-and-calendar-loving connoisseurs among their visitors.
And at the very far end stood a single table, holding nothing but a large collection of water balloons and water pistols. It came with no instructions.
Some of them looked like there was paint in them.

Mingle!
Re: Mingle!
handwavybeen on a date with her Battle Tactics teacher while she had been at Fandom. She was fine about it really and not at all insecure about her sister as she ate her food and looked out at the causeway.
Food!
moddablefood stands along Apocalypse Ave. Some of Fandom's many restaurants have thoughtfully supplied items.Re: Food!
At least he also tipped heavily?
Re: Food!
Maybe some food would help. He was starting at the bakery stand. Of course.
Chiana was nearby, looking around, and not-so-subtly keeping an eye out in case the hitting started again. She'd been inclined to smack her friend before but never like that.
Re: Food!
Re: Food!
(Who was, for the record, dressed in what passed for practically sedate colors for her, with a comic-book-panel printed top and faded blue jeans that were more holes than jeans.)
“Stark,” he greeted. “Hey.”
Re: Food!
"Hello, Liam," he said with a hesitant smile. Street he didn't know, but she was clearly there with Liam, so she got a small nod of acknowledgement.
Re: Food!
Hence the once-over he was currently being subjected to, before Liam remembered he ought to introduce Street.
“This is Street,” he told Stark
and Chiana, presumably. “A friend from home.”Street gave Stark a wide grin and a cheerful wave. “Hi! I’ve heard about you!”
Re: Food!
"Hello, Street." Stark gave another little nod.
"This is Chiana," Stark continued. "From Moya."
"Hi!" Chiana, having decided nobody was going to start brawling (no matter how much fun that might be for her), took a few steps closer. "Stark, you got cute friends!"

Re: Food!
"I can do better than not so bad!" Chiana threw her arms wide. "No wonder you haven't come back yet," she said, grinning over at Stark. "Maybe I'll stay." She wouldn't.
"He might need someone to keep an eye on him," she said, turning back to Street and Liam. "Keep him out of trouble."
"You've never kept anyone out of trouble in your life," Stark protested, very mildly.
Re: Food!
"Fortunately there's not too much trouble to get in to around here." A beat. "Usually."
Re: Food!
"Stark got in a barfight," she gleefully informed Liam. "Never been more proud of him."
He'd helped end a war not all that long ago from her perspective. This was far more entertaining.
Stark just sighed, which only made Chiana's grin wider.
"You telling me it's usually quieter around here?"
She knew it was from what Stark had already said. But it was fun to try and get reactions from him.
Re: Food!
Did Chiana even know what bees were?
Street certainly did, judging from the face she made. Boooooring.
Re: Food!
Chiana did know about bees. She might never have seen any but she was familiar with the concept.
"I like that it's quiet most of the time," Stark pointed out.
"Yeah, but I came to see you because I was bored," Chiana countered. "Good thing you were entertaining last night."
Merchandise!
Re: Merchandise!
Kamilah had stopped to sign merchandise. Of course she had. Tiny in particular was being quite the fanboy.
Re: Merchandise!
Of course not, that would be insane.
Except for how she'd done it. In her defense, sort of, she'd also been drunk since Saturday night.
"GIVE ME THE MOBILE!" she yelled, popping out from behind the table.

WATER(?) FIGHT
Some of them are filled with paint. Some of them aren't.
Go on. 'Entertain' your guests.
Re: WATER(?) FIGHT
Re: WATER(?) FIGHT
"Shouldn't have taught you about that," he yelled, diving out of the way.

Re: WATER(?) FIGHT
"Have at you!" he declared, hoisting a balloon in his hand, and...
Promptly popping it with his claws, covering his hand in bright orange paint.
"I see a new strategy may be at hand!" he declared, because, sure, he was a giant target that was fairly easy to hit, but he was also a big giant target that was fairly east to hit now armed with water pistols and a determination to try his best.
Re: WATER(?) FIGHT
Goose waa gleefully throwing extra balloons aimed at Doc.
