Rey's warehouse- Friday afternoon

After a really good trip home with some good talks with Leia, and yesterday's repeated random floating in air in a bar, Rey was kind of inspired today.

Which was why anyone who came in today would walk in to see her on one hand, eyes closed, feet in the air, just seeing how long she could hold it. And whether her arm was going to be sore afterwards.

"I feel like I should be piled rocks on your boots," Anakin said, smiling.

"That wouldn't be very nice," Rey said, though she wasn't sure it would matter till she got down.

"That's how Obi-Wan trained me," Anakin said. "More or less."

"Did the rocks make any difference if you had focus?" Rey wondered.

[sith_happened]

"When they landed on me, absolutely," Anakin said.

[thatwaslucky]

"Do you have rocks?" Rey asked.

[sith_happened]

"Who doesn't?" Anakin asked.

[thatwaslucky]

Rey peeked an eye open to frown af him.

"I can get you some," Anakin said sunnily.

"Maybe next time," she said, opening her eyes to drop her legs forward to land on the ground.

And then went "woo," as the head rush came.

Anakin chuckled. "I don't know how to stop the head rush," he admitted.

"Well, it's good practice," Anakin said.

"Do you think I'll be doing that much?" Rey asked. She couldn't think of many reasons, but the question was sincere.

Anakin winced as he thought. "I can't really think of when, but it's good to know how?"

"I suppose it had to become a thing for a reason," Rey said. "Leia talks about Luke making her do things like that in training. I thought I would try it."

"You're pretty good at it," Anakin said, smiling.

[thatwaslucky]

"Thanks." Look at her not argue! Look! Because she was serious about trying to be better there. "Your arm does hurt when you stop though."

Anakin nodded. "That's why I think it's more of a party trick thing."

"Do you do this at parties?" she asked.

[sith_happened]

"Not in years," Anakin said.

[thatwaslucky]

"Really?" she asked, interested.

[sith_happened]

"I was a showoff in high school," Anakin said.

"Okay, that makes sense," she realized.

Anakin laughed. "I calmed down eventually."
