Rey's warehouse- Friday afternoon

After a really good trip home with some good talks with Leia, and yesterday's repeated random floating in air in a bar, Rey was kind of inspired today.

Which was why anyone who came in today would walk in to see her on one hand, eyes closed, feet in the air, just seeing how long she could hold it. And whether her arm was going to be sore afterwards.

"Is that good or not?" Anakin wondered.

"I'm not sure," she admitted. "For a few reasons."

[sith_happened]

"Care to tell me about them?" Anakin asked.

[thatwaslucky]

"Mostly that I don't know what he's doing. I know I shut him out every time, but if he's given up on me, what does that mean? For me, for him, for everyone?" And would it be weird for her to have mixed feelings about that?

Anakin nodded. "I doubt that he's given up on you, but this is more patient than he strikes me as being," he said. "Maybe there's something drawing his attention?"

"Probably. Trying to ruin a galaxy has to be time-consuming," she said wryly.

[sith_happened]

"So many meetings," Anakin agreed.

[thatwaslucky]

"I have a feeling he skips those and goes straight for Force chokes," she said.

[sith_happened]

"How derivative of me," Anakin said drly.

[thatwaslucky]

"If it helps, I've never seen him do it," Rey said lightly.

[sith_happened]

"That's a good thing," Anakin said. "It's hard to block and I won't teach it."

[thatwaslucky]

Rey was not going to tell him that she probably knew how to do it already.

"I'm guessing it's like being held in place, only choking? I've had that first thing done. I couldn't do anything about it at all."

Anakin nodded. "Something close to that."

[thatwaslucky]

"I hated that," she said. "Is there a way to break it?"

[sith_happened]

Anakin pressed his lips together. "It's generally the same sort of thing as when you're blocking them out of your head," he said. "It's all a battle of willpower and strength."

"I did well at one of those with Obe person," she says. "I did miserably at both with another."

[sith_happened]

"We could probably practice some part of that," Anakin conceded.

[thatwaslucky]

"I don't suppose there's a way to do that without immobilization?"

She'd talk about her traumas easily, but that didn't mean it didn't bother her.

"We could start with me holding down one of your feet, maybe?" Anakin offered. "Free range of motion otherwise?"

[thatwaslucky]

"Can I work up to that?" Rey asked. "I think it might take some preparation."

[sith_happened]

"We'd go very slowly," Anakin promised.

[thatwaslucky]

"Thanks. It was a lot." Clearly.

[sith_happened]

Anakin nodded. "I can see that."

He wasn't exactly thrilled to be reliving his "let's choke out the incompetent" days either, but he wasn't going to dump that onto his Padawan.

"I'll do it," she assured him. "It's already happened more than I'd like. Just..." Had to prep.

[sith_happened]

"We'll go very slow," he said. "Like we did with the final form that we decided we didn't like."
