Kitty had printed up flyers for Three Minute Dates With the intent of hanging them around town through the week.

She walked in to find the bar papered in them. Like the actual bar, the thing you sat at and put your drinks on. That thing was decoupaged in flyers. And Tino was looking proud.

This was actually pretty bad advertising but sometimes you had to pick your battles.

Yeah, it was kind of hard not to notice the bar and even more difficult to avoid commenting on it.

"That time of year again, huh?" Rosa remarked, once she managed to figure out which way to hold her head to best read whatever the bar had apparently been plastered with.

"That time," Kitty confirmed. "Apparently we've already decorated since it should take next weekend to get this all off."

"So I take it flyer-bombing the entire bar wasn't exactly your idea," Rosa noted, flicking a glance over toward who she suspected was the person responsible.

"He tried," Kitty said slowly. "We'll have a talk later about advertising outside the bar, to people who might not ordinarily come in."

"I look forward to getting to watch the troopers trying to scrape off probably two inches of flyers off of every available surface around the island, then," Rosa decided with a snort.

"Not that it'll help much since no one ever comes by," she added, "but I can put one in the window at the office if you want."

That way, she would be guaranteed at least one tastefully displayed poster out there.

"Thank you, I will see if there are any left for you to take back when you leave," Kitty said, looking down at the bar and sighing. "I mean, how long have we been doing this?"

Rosa shrugged a little. "I don't know," she said. "At least long enough that..."

She started to remember, now, the first one she'd done, and how it ended...or rather who it ended with...and she was just going to make a very unapprecitive face and move right onto something else now, ugh. Jesus. How long have they been doing this?

"I hope you're taking all the printing costs for those flyers out of his paycheck now," she said, instead.

"I might. There comes a point where you have to dock pay so much that you start feeling bad," Kitty admitted.

Rosa took a moment to put herself in Kitty's shoes in that respect, and squinted a little, looking skeptical.

"Does there, though?" she wondered. "Really?"

She could....not see herself feeling bad about it. Not even a little.

"There does if you're me," Kitty clarified. "I'm a sucker."
