Caritas- Tuesday

They had received a whole lot of flavored vodkas to try at the bar today. Just, so many.

It was leading to a lot of questions as Kitty and Tino unpacked them, like "What's the difference between Watermelon and Summer Watermelon?" and "Why cake?" and "We're going to have some weird specials at Three Minute Dates, huh?"

SPECIALS
If you can come up with a drink using Blue Raspberry Vodka,
you get that drink free

"Which of those will be free?"

Which was to say all of them if she'd let her.

Rosa nodded. "Just wanted to make sure," she said, "because there's no way I'm drinking that unless it's free. So let's line 'em up. In order."

A pause.

"Wait," she amended, "no, scratch that. Reverse it. Save on-the-rocks for when I've had enough of it to care less about the fact that I'm drinking straight blue raspberry vodka."

The sacrifices she made for their friendship. Truly.

"Well," Rosa offered, who really only had herself to hate for this, but she wasn't about to deny that hating Kitty as well wasn't entirely out of the realm of possibility here, "there was coffee in my desk drawers this morning, so."

She was just going to let that one answer itself, then.

"You?"
died8yearsago: (really? 2)

The question wasn't whether or not you could, Kitty; it was whether or not you should.

"There was," Rosa said. "Files, records. Pens and loose change and at least one gun. Things like that. If it's anything like the coffee that got into the drawers at the station, it'll all be fine tomorrow, but still. I thought I'd escaped coffee drawers."

"Have you ever had to deal with a coffee drawer?" Rosa asked, brow arching as she reached for that drink, because if she had, that was news to her, and welcome news at that, because she really did think it was an FPD-exclusive issue up until this morning.

"I would gladly take any of that over coffee drawers," said Rosa, firmly convinced that no one who hadn't experienced coffee drawers could truly understand just how terrible they really were.

Whole drawers, just filled with coffee. It was an insult to the desk, to the person sitting at it, and to the very concept of coffee as a whole.
died8yearsago: (mm coffee)

"You know this is only tempting me to try to sneak into your office and fill your drawers with coffee now," Rosa stated, after wrinkling her nose at her drink for a moment and then promptly taking another sip, "right?"

She wouldn't actually. She did like Kitty, after all, and that honestly just sounded like too much work, but she would at least like for Kitty to appreciate that it could be a possibility.

Yeah, that almost made her want to backtrack on the being too lazy part.

"Having a key," Rosa countered, "completely negates the whole concept of breaking in."
