Summer was having a very busy week, and the start of it was only the beginning, really, all the good stuff pretty much started tonight during her bar shift, and then would continue on through tomorrow for that much needed Galentine's Day spa date, and then whipping up a masterful array of jello shots (both SFW and NSFW!) for Irene's little party on Friday, and all that on her plate was exactly as Summer liked it, so she was just glowing and bouncing and honestly just so ready to gooooo, let's do this!

Of course, she had to deal with Tino and all that vodka, and then just blinked at him for a moment when he asked her a question he was still puzzling over after Kitty had asked it yesterday, that of course she had an answer to.

"Well, obviously," she said, helping him out by plucking one of the bottles out of his hand and going to get herself a glass, "Summer Watermelon means it's for me, thank you, don't mind if I do!"

Honestly, he should have expected that when he asked. Really, now.

On the one hand, Jon was mortified that he'd taken Billy's statement. On the other, he knew he was safer around other people now than he had been in some time.

So clearly it was time to drink, right?

"Summer." He nodded to her as he slid up onto a bar stool.

"Jon!" Summer loved, loved, loved her regulars, but it was always a particular thrill when the more irregulars managed to swing in, especially when they had, she felt, regular potential. "Hey! What are we drinking tonight? Can I get you any shots?"

"Sweet things sound good," Jon admitted. "Maybe the chocolate one."

"That's a good one," Summer confirmed with confidence, as she set one down in front of Jon. "And look at them! Adorable! And a lot more where that came from at Irene's party this Friday."

Hiring Summer Smith for you event meant not only amazing jello, but also completely shameless advertising and promotion! You're welcome, Irene!

"I, um. I saw the flyers," Jon admitted. "I'm not sure it's really my thing, but I...I might drop in to show support for Irene," he said reluctantly.

Summer grinned a little at that. "I'm sure even a brief appearance will be more than welcome," she said. "And speaking of brief appearances, it feels like it's been a while! How've you been?"

"Fine. I've been...fine," Jon said, nodding. He was totally fine. He was eating that chocolate shot now. "This is good," he said, chewing it awkwardly.
