Was there a reason for the pie theme with the jello shots that evening?

No. No, there was not.

Did there need to be?

If you asked Summer, she would also say that the answer to that was no, and that, honestly? She'd been researching for her summer workshop, which meant that everyone should be really grateful that there was an apparently random pie theme with the jello shots that evening instead of....whatever else there could have been.

If there was one thing her summer obsession with horrible vintage recipes had taught her was that with enough gelatin, mayonaisse, and alcohol, anything was possible.

Cindy modded dragged Kara up on stage with her. “Come on, guys!” She encouraged the zombies. “Ever the Same! You know the tune!”

Not that she was entirely sure these were the same zombies that had been here since the beginning. It was hard to tell under all that makeup. But surely their predecessors would’ve let them in on all the cool Fandom in-jokes?

(In reality, even if they were the same zombies, there was probably a whole zombies of Theseus thing at work here, with all the body parts that were constantly needing replacement)

It felt rather weird to be at the bar when he hadn’t had class that morning but since he hadn’t received orders to return home over the break just yet, Goose was definitely going to take advantage of still being able to get his fill of his usual shots.

Liz was still finding herself in need of a good distraction from missing Prompto and she needed to try and make an effort to leave the apartment, so she decided to spend some time at the bar since it had been a few weeks since she had been.

“Hi Summer,” she said as she took a seat at the bar, “how have things been going?” they had talked at the party but a lot had been going since then.

Annie, who was very much stuck at work for the foreseeable future, managed to carve out a little time for the important things while her hair was being teased back up between takes.

God, as soon as she was done filming these American Hero promos, she was going to sleep for a week. And also, once she learned about these shots, probably eat a lot of pie-slash-drink a lot of liquor.

Apologies in advance for the sudden ambiance of being at a rave or something. Phil was just a little excited to be here. So he was just snapping off some pictures... of everything... as he walked into the bar.

He did stop long enough to take a seat at the bar and take a quick glance at the last few pictures, sending off a few right away to his Pinterest Fandom Board.

Literally. She was writing down a list of the specials so that she could hopefully recreate them for her next edition of the Fandom High Cookbook.

But of course, since she was here, she ought to give at least one of them a try, for research…

It had been a while since Kurt had stopped by to see Summer... and from the looks of the crowd it seemed like it was an especially busy night. So Kurt found an empty seat and sat quietly, looking over the actual menu for once because yes he was of course going to have a jello shot or two but he was in the mood for something a little less, jiggly, as well.

Going up and cooing at celebs was so gauche. Ginny preferred to look cool and aloof (as she melted inside because oh em gee Stark was right there and his mask was even more metal and buckle-y than she'd pictured!). Once she had her fill of jello, she wandered over to the lounge to people-watch and plan her next fic.

It was definitely going to feature Stark. All that leather, mmf.
