Zombie Yoko wasn't on the stage today.

A few minutes later Kitty realized it was because she was trying out the stripper pole, leaving Kitty go try and shut that down real fast.

"I'm not trying to interfere with your creative expression! I'm trying to keep your limbs attached!"

"Kitty." Rosa slid onto her usual stool, with a nod of greeting and almost even a smile. Almost. Let's not get too crazy with the notably good mood.

Kitty knew better than to comment on what appeared to be a good mood, so instead she went with, "Tell me something good."

"Boomers that take for granted the security of their information online," Rosa said with a snort, "and hopefully whatever whiskey you're putting in my glass."

"I can do the whiskey," Kitty said, turning to grab a glass. "What's this about boomers?"

"Tightpants hired me to mess with Dwight's dad," Rosa explained. "It's been great."

And she hadn't even started the really good stuff yet!

"Oh! Congratulations?" Kitty had met Dwight maybe once.

"Thanks," Rosa said proudly. "He's a real piece of shit."

The dad. Not Dwight.

Although Rosa was really not a fan of Dwight, either, if she was honest.

"Then definitely congratulations," Kitty said, passing her her drink. "I support putting people in their place."

"Also," Rosa added, because this, too, was important, and a good one to compliment to appreciative lift of her glass, "I kicked everyone's ass at Not-Paintball yesterday, but you knew that."

It definitely was worth repeating, though.

"How 'bout you? You tell me something good."

"I... I am going to struggle at that," Kitty said. "My kid is really cute?"

"For a kid," Rosa allowed, "sure."

Lexi was definitely a part of an elite group of children Rosa found acceptable, which also included two kids named for ridiculous action movies (and one of those kids wasn't even real) and maybe one of her nieces.

Maybe.

But her brow furrowed a little. "Does that mean everything else is not good?"

"I saw things today that no one should know about," Kitty said. "And I haven't properly processed it."

Rosa stared at Kitty.

Expectantly.

"Well now you have to tell me what it was," she said, throwing back the rest of her whiskey now in case whatever Kitty said put her off of it.

While pushing the glass forward for a refill in the event it only made her need more.

There was a long pause.

A loooong pause.

And in a hushed tone, she said, "Zombie on the stripper pole."

There was a long, looooong pause back.

And then equally hushed, to match: "....were they any good?"

In the same tone: "....not bad until an arm came off."

Excuse Rosa a moment while she subtly glanced over her shoulder toward the stage, trying to spot which one looked like it had the most recently attached arm.

"Yeah, I can see how that might have interrupted their flow a little."
