Fix & Clean-Sunday
There was a good bit of activity going on at the shop, especially for so early in the day and also for a Sunday. And it was 100% intentional as Dwight tried to keep himself busy and distracted as much as possible.
It was a holiday weekend, and not just any holiday- it was the 4th of July. And his feelings about the holiday were .... complicated. It was a difficult balancing act every year. On one side there was the sense of pride and respect that came from years of military service...and one the other side was everything else that came with that. Add to that the entirely unique and personal layer of trauma his Trouble brought into the picture, and enjoying even something as simple as a firework show was essentially impossible for him.
And so, Dwight had spent that last few days trying to decide the best course of action for getting through the weekend, relatively in tact. Back in Haven he usually went on a camping trip over the weekend to get away from things. But Fandom was already fairly quiet and remote.... heading to the mainland would mot likely be putting himself closer to the very thing he was trying to get away from. So, Dwight was sticking it out, and hoping for a relatively easy holiday weekend.
The shop was going to be spick and span clean by the time the 5th rolled around, and who knew, he might actually get that side project finished up by then too! Dwight was hopeful at least as he fixed up the sign by the door:
The shop was open!

...but she wasn't. Yet. She might think about it, depending on how this interaction was about to transpire....
The one that was starting put with Rosa walking into the shop, with a very large bag that clattered with a mess of metal and glass as she unceremoniously plopped it on the counter, and then just stared Dwight down expectantly.

"Rosa" he said simply. "What brings you in?" Ya know other than mysterious clanging bags of mystery.

"Apparently, you actually can have too many guns."

As if she'd even let anyone else even think of touching those even if they weren't.

"Anyway," she said instead, "it was a custom piece," this was true, "with a lot of sentimental value," this was not, "so if you could manage to piece it back together, that would be preferable to completely rebuilding it."
Although it was currently in so many pieces that they were practically the same thing.

Which was....partially true. A very small part. It had definitely seen better days before Rosa decided a broken weapon rack could be a nice addition to her newest favorite pasttime of messing with Hendricksons.
You should feel honored, Dwight. Some people considered this kind of attention from Rosa to be a compliment.
"I'm sure you can come up with something."

"I'll start working on some sketch ideas. You can come by after the holiday if you want to take a look. Or, I can just press on and surprise you with the end results." Dwight wasn't sure if Rosa would be more of the hands on type or not. "I'll be here all day... hiding out... so should be able to get some good planning work done to start with."

(Or at least try?)
Pretty good day, right there.
"You want any pictures of what it looked like before?" Rosa asked, not really answering his question, but, well, you know.

"It would give me an idea what I am shooting for and a guide to work off of incase I have to make something from scratch as a replacement."
And Dwight would totally take sarcastic slightly standoffish Rosa over glaring and threats of nail-gun target practice Rosa any day.

What about sign you up for a bunch of potentially hilariously targeted internet spam Rosa?

He gave her his email and then took another look at the pile and felt the need to point out one critical thing about this... renovation puzzle he had been handed.
"This is going to take a little bit of time. So I hope you have a good secure place for those guns of yours in the meantime."

They had two closets in tje bedroom, and only one was used for clothes.
The smaller one.

Ya know, provided he survive the explosion heavy holiday ahead.
